From a salary cap perspective this would be a big win for the Bears.

Trading Tannehill would result in $9,200,000 of dead cap money for Miami.

Trading Cutler would result in Chicago getting out of a $17 million cap number, with only $3 million in dead cap money and a $14 million cap savings.

But the Bears would have traded for Ryan Tannehill, and the Dolphins would have traded for Jay Cutler...

Million dollar question: who gets Byron Maxwell, though?

Please let this happen, Cutler is a jinks
You think a possible aquisition of cutler is the problem in miami? If cutler is a jinx... What is five years of ryan t without a winning record?

Tannehill isn't an awful QB (IMO), Cutler is, though he does have talent. On top of that, I don't think Cutler cares much how bad he or his team plays, Tanny does. Cutler must just be so used to losing by now, jaded. Last but not least, Cutler is 33, 5 years older than RT

Which means the Bears can cut Cutler pretty much anytime they like without having to acquire the contract of a different underperforming, overpaid QB.

It's an entirely false story. I'm not sure why the thread is still up.

Yea I think you nailed it, Cutler just acts like he doesn't care about anything.. it doesn't seem like he even enjoys playing the sport anymore aside from the paycheck

Tannehill for Cutler is an interesting idea

Yeah, I'm fine with where we're at in terms of having Tannehill as the opposing QB.

Nice to see homophobia and bigotry are acceptable here. Classy place.

Nice to see PC-butthurt is being peddled here too. If you don't like it, leave.

Bring your big boy pants the next time. There's censorship here but, thankfully, you'll have to look elsewhere for a full-on SJW safe space.
