It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Right, look even though Jimmy may have been projected to be good, I still find it somewhat laughable that Bill traded out of conference because we were afraid the Browns would challenge our AFC supremacy........THE BROWNS
Let me phrase it another way. Let's say Jimmy G. does have the potential to be a Pro Bowl QB, what's more likely.....
1.) He uses his talent to turn the Browns into a title threat.
Or
2.) The Browns and their losing stench rub onto Jimmy and his career never flourishes.
That's a very fair point. At the time the Pats made the trade, the Texans were 3–4 with two losses by 3 in high-scoring games against SEA and NE, and Deshaun Watson still had two functional ACLs.
Pretty much like the execrable Polian claiming he had a first round grade on Brady.
The ineptitude of the Browns has me wondering how dysfunctional they are. This is a team with 4 wins in 3 years. That has to be more than just coaching and drafting.
Maybe the computers are from 1995. The film room has no electricity, there's no hot water. Their practice facility is a basketball court painted green.
There has to be a reason or some organizational dysfunction that remains no matter how often the players and coaches are changed.
The sports media absolutely loves a quarterback controversy.
The Patriots trade away Garappolo all but ending any chance of a quarterback controversy.
Sports Media: **** that ****. We're talking Patriots quarterback controversy no matter what it takes.
Even if they did release a statement I'd be skeptical. No matter what, unless and until the Browns release a statement to the effect that they were willing to give up their 1st round pick in exchange for Jimmy G, all of this is just speculation. It does help to pass the time until the next Patriots game, but otherwise, it's pretty pointless.
Int tune into Touchole and Rich then. They're having one of their laugh-thons mocking sources they have within the Patriots. Yes everything Bill, Brady and Belichick says is a lie. Everything their sources say that defends the trade is a lie. The only thing they believe is when their sources say something that can be stretched to fit Touchole's narrative.Stay tuned as the Sports Talk Radio banter will start soon, and these alleged comments are enough proof for the agitators on Sports Talk Radio.. they can spend the day with spewing garbage about this actually happened, because ex GM Brown said..
"Cubby Bertram" and "Super Sleuth Felger" are hot on the trail of the "truth" so tune in and listen to the manufactured hysteria over these revelations.. look for Sashi Brown to make an appearance, and get a gift certificate to "Mr. Sids".
My wish would be for any of these shows to focus on Tennessee and football, rather than controversy.
Look, Belichick mishandled this situation. Simple as that. Just accept that he faulked up and move on. He should have traded Jimmy to the Browns for a first and another pick. He didn't, for whatever reason. He got pennies on the dollar by trading him to the 49ers.
All the other rationalizations people make are just them trying to make themselves feel better about how the Patriots faulked this up.
So you are right, and BB is wrong. It was a mistake because you say it is.Look, Belichick mishandled this situation. Simple as that. Just accept that he faulked up and move on. He should have traded Jimmy to the Browns for a first and another pick. He didn't, for whatever reason. He got pennies on the dollar by trading him to the 49ers.
