Russell Wilson has as much chance of being named MVP as your mother's obstetrician has of collecting on the delivery bill when she shyt you out.

Yea ok, but look at the Defense he is playing, on the road, with NO help & the worst OL in football. Also, most of his impact players on D are out (Sherm, Kam, Wagner & Avril). Come on guys, I know we LOVE The Goat, but there are other players that are worthy based on their value to their respective team. Also, if Brady (God forbid) throws 3 INTs tomorrow, is he still not the MVP???? Stop ball-washing. Wilson is playing his ASS off & does so EVERY WEEK.

Lol...he threw almost as many INTs this game as Brady has this season. Is Russell Wilson a great quarterback? Of course. Has he played at a high level this year? Yes, although inconsistently. We are talking about the MVP, though. Only one player can win it. I don’t know how you spin a three INT performance into more Wilson hype. And yes, the defense is not good right now, but it certainly doesn’t help when the offense is completely inept for most of the game.

Dead serious chief. Dead serious.

He’s just playing with you man. He’s a good guy. We’re all pats fans in the end. Russel is playing great. Brady has played great too when our defenses were terrible and no one gives him credit then. Heck he only has two mvps. Don’t waste too much energy on other teams, they all have good players, but we want you backing the team you root for.

This ****ing blows. I literally remember the 24 hours leading up to Brady's injury right down to the 24 after.

Brady has to be the mvp this year and I really think he would of won it anyway but I feel for wentz. I feel for the eagles.

This sucks

My mother passed away, but I’ll let you slide on this one. You’re all talk. I know your type. Well.

Dude, it’s only a 2 man race. Brady & Wilson. I never said Brady shouldn’t win in it. I said Wilson is carrying his team & is in the running for the award. At least top 3, but now with Wentz being out it’s a 2 man race.

Y’all really think I don’t want Brady to win it??? I just choose to keep things in perspective.

Who's pushing the Wilson agenda?

Certainly not the media. It was a 2 man race this morning.

One of those guys may be done for the season.

Pretty obvious who wins if health permits

Careful of that karma

I didn't wish, nor wish any injuries. But I don't have to feel sorry. Quite frankly I was getting tired of all the wentz-Brady comparisons and wentz for MVP ********. Brady had already forgotten what wentz hasn't even learned yet. Hopefully, that should leave Brady standing in the MVP race all alone at the top.

Empathy is what separates us from the animals.

Like I said. Be careful

I have no empathy for Rice Krispies...none whatsoever. One could call me a...wait for it......cereal killer...

Personally, I could not care less about the MVP race of all things, when we're talking about the top young QB in the league suffering a serious injury that could wipe out his team's great season, potentially affect his long-term career, and along the way diminish the quality of NFL football heading into the playoffs.

Bovada Odds Today

Tom Brady -500 (83%)
Russell Wilson +750 (12%)
Drew Brees +2000 (5%)
Ben Roethlisberger +2000 (5%)
Antonio Brown +2500 (4%)
Le'Veon Bell +3300 (3%)

The probabilities add up to over 100% because that's the vig you pay to Vegas in futures betting.

Brady would have to play poorly over the last four games to not win the award. If he plays adequately, he would still be the clear frontrunner for MVP even with a loss to the Steelers, despite all the silly noise and hype tat would blow up about Roethlsiberger, who played way below standards for half the season. Even if this were to happen, the Patriots have two home games against the Bills and Jets to end the season. If the Patriots beat the Steelers , I don't think it's possible for Brady to not win the MVP award. He would really have to choke this away.

Voters are strange. I would still vote for Wentz in a split second over Roethlsiberger or Brees, especially Roethlisberger. He will finish with more TD passes and 11 wins despite only playing 13 games. He essentially ended his season after already accomplishing home field advantage, and it's still possible he will lead the entire NFL in TD passes. Things will change before now and then, but even with missing three games, I would put him in second place in the MVP voting, although Wilson may surpass him.

I've heard people even today, like Mike Lombardi, say that Wentz is still the MVP. When I hear things like this, I flash back to last season. Brady missed 4 games and most sports reporters and observers said that Brady could not be the MVP because he didn't play all 16 games.

That’s was the only thing they used to discredit him too. I wouldn’t want Brady to win it because someone got hurt but thinking back how Brady was suspended for doing nothing,I could care less how he wins it.
