Somebody said the Chiefs and Saints secondary receiving personnel are about equal. I really disagree as a Saints fan. Drew has Mike Thomas and that's it. Yes, he throws to Kamara a lot, but a lot of those are dump off passes. Kamara is rarely the primary read and he only plays half the snaps anyway. Now, Ted Ginn came back this week and that helps. But he's been out for almost the entire season. Other than that it's been Tre'Quan Smith, Keith Kirkwood, Austin Carr. And at TE, Ben Watson, Josh Hill, Dan Arnold. Of those guys, Smith has draft pedigree and good tools but he's raw and a guy they wanted to be their #4/5 WR this year. Kirkwood and Carr are practice squad level talents. Either one or both could be good someday but right now they're just guys that are in over their head but got forced into action anyway. Watson is old and it shows at the most inopportune moments. Hill is an athlete who can block but will never be more than a #2 TE and Arnold can't catch a contested pass to save his life. I honestly don't think Brees has had less to work with on offense since his first year with the Saints in 2006.
