Wentz played great today and certainly remains one of the favorites (though he is now out for the game) Not a good day for Wilson with 3 INTs already. Unless he can engineer a comeback I think his chances fall considerably.

Agree. Wilson WAS on a roll but killed any legit chances with that showing.
Unless TFB collapses, yeah right, it's gotta be him now.

Don’t see how brady can’t win it now.

It wouldn’t suprise me If the mediots say since he yelled at his coach he doesn’t get mvp. They are gonna find any minute slip up to award someone else.

The NBC crew last night was trying to beat the Antonio Brown drum. I imagine that argument will be the last gasp of those trying to give the MVP to someone else, anyone else, other than Brady.

Seahawks are having too down a year for Wilson to get it. Too many losses, and his stats just aren't that good.

Wentz is dead now.

Goff has weaker stats and fewer wins. He's a great story, but not THAT great.

Bell is averaging like 3.9 YPA, he's having an Eddie George type of season that's just pure volume.

Roethelisberger basically has league average efficiency and a bunch of garbage games.

Brown is genuinely ridiculous but the odds of a WR getting it are incredibly low. He's basically repeating 2014-2015 and he wasn't even in the top 4 in votes either year. If the Steelers beat the Pats and he breaks 2,000 yards on the season, maybe?

PIT would have to win out and AB would have to post some historical numbers to push the needle far enough to make it a legitimate discussion. NBC (and NFLN for that matter) for beating the AB drum in the hopes that someone other than the GOAT would win it.

That's what I was thinking too. All of a sudden, this will be the year it becomes trendy to find a non-QB....

Brady's going to throw for 4 bills and 4 TDs against Pittsburgh and remove all doubt.

No love for Cam Newton? The Panthers are probably going to make the playoffs and he's a reason why. I'd put him above Alex Smith at least

If the Eagles lose their next three then there will be a new narrative that Wentz deserves it because "look how bad the Eagles were without him."

Not saying it's a good narrative, but guarantee you'll hear it.

Brady winning MVP might not be ideal for Pats fans, according to one important stat. . .

Let someone else have it please....

This game is vital for the Patriots, due to this: if they lose to Miami & Pittsburgh, Jags get the 2 seed ( pending they win out), because they'd have one fewer losses to AFC teams.

C'mon, man. Do you also believe in the Madden "curse" for cover art players? Brady has been just fine this year. And even if he did get injured, it would have nothing whatsoever to do with Madden.

Brady should have more than two MVP awards for his career. It's a travesty that voters appear allergic to Brady, yet handed the award to Manning with regularity. Sure, he's got the Super Bowl MVPs, and those are infinitely sweeter, but why not win them all? Just because the league MVP has performed poorly in the SB in recent history doesn't mean that it's somehow impossible to just keep winning.

The MVP curse has nothing to do with injuries. It's saying the last MVP to win a SB was Warner in 99.

Brady couldn' win it because he only played 75% of the season last year.

Same applies here

Agreed. Wilson is having a good year, but a lot of is pure volume and not great efficiency. He's 12th in passer rating (Brady 109.7), has thrown 11 interceptions (Brady has 4), and is 13th in Y/A at 7.4. On top of this, Seattle is currently the 7th seed in the NFL.

If the Pats win out, in part because Brady shreds the Steelers next week, then it should probably be Brady.
If the Steelers win out, in part because Bell runs amok into the Pats secondary next week, then it should probably be Bell.
If neither of the above happen, then it could be Wilson if the 'hawks run the table against the Raiders, Cowboys and Arizona.
It can't be Smith because a Most Valuable Player wouldn't let his team tank the way the Chiefs have tanked.
It can't be Wentze if he can't play the last three games and carry his team to a Bye/HFA.

Who's pushing the Wilson agenda?

Certainly not the media. It was a 2 man race this morning.

One of those guys may be done for the season.

Pretty obvious who wins if health permits

Ryan Clark is banging the Wilson for MVP drums today. He hates everything Patriots so I am not surprised.

Wilson has 11 interceptions
Brady has 4 interceptions

Brady’s QBR - 109.7
Wilson’s QBR - 95.5
