long Allan Branch Inactive?? Branch have been a Beast in the Playoffs for us. I know Brown and Guy are playing very well but you never have enough cloggers in the middle.

Depending how the coaches see his progress. He had big problems coming to form at the start of the season, they left him on the sidelines most of the time even when he thought he was 100% so it wouldn't be exactly a shock if he is inactive.

RJF on the other hand surprisingly did a very good job every time he was on the line both as DT or DE in 3 DT sets.

Hopefully Branch did come back to good enough form to offer some of his enormous presence in the middle of the line..

I rigorously avoid meeting people in person whom I've "liked" from afar. It's always a letdown.

Not true, I once met the girl whose breasts were shown in the move "AIRPLANE!" perform at a strip club. I had admired them from afar since I was 16 and saw the movie, and they were even more impressive in person!

MM not activated today was, IMHO, a near certainty.
MM was/is so far behind in training and prep that he would need to have shown astonishing leaps from his 2016 season to risk putting him out there in lieu of Britt or Dorsett.
I think (A) with a win let's see where the health of the WRs are after the game. Any injury may make the MM activation an automatic or (B) has he looked good enough in practice and shown value in a way that starting the season in the AFCCG with only 3 weeks of practice is a good bet.

Did you tell her to assume the crash position?

Agreed, he could be a valuable asset in case somebody goes down tomorrow. Would have been inactive anyway, with only one training session this week.

I hear you. My one big exception to that was Vince Wilfork. What a sweetheart of a guy.

Well, in truth, there have been a few exceptions for me, too. The biggest surprise, though, was ..... (wait for it).... Naomi Judd. I spent a couple hours hanging around with here back in 1995 as sort of "event security." She was a true sweetheart .... humble and gracious, but with a very clever snarky streak ... and a real cutup, I mean physical comedy stuff.

its alot to ask of a player to miss a whole season, have 2 weeks of practice and contribute in a playoff game. but as said. If someone goes down to have a guy like that as a backup plan isnt bad.

with Hogan healthy your top 3 WR's are Cooks/Hogan/Amendola....Dorsett is back to a 4th guy role probably wont see the field much as I expect more 2 RB sets.

Wasn't Branch playing much better when he got hurt?

Surely there must have been at least a bit of a "letdown" over the intervening years.

Why in the world would David Harris be inactive vs the most power-run-centric
team in the entire league?

With the addition of Harrison and partial return of KVN he was inactive last game. With KVN reportedly a full go and Roberts clearly ahead of him plus others getting healthy it might be just too crowded for a guy that doesn't contribute on special teams. M.Flowers should be ready to go as well..

I know you would prefer him over Grissom and Grigsby but BB&co usually take core ST players over backup positional guys that don't play ST.

BTW - Im not sure they are too worried about Henry as some fans and mediots are. Pats have big bodies all over front 7 . and while they can struggle with explosive, elusive backs and sweet feet QBs . i believe they are well suited to stop guys like Henry. And while I agree Harris would be a good piece to have in the middle they might be comfortable with the guys they had in week 17 + KVN.

Im really not worried about the middle . setting the edge will be the key and Harrison, KVN, M.Flowers should do the job there. Id expect Richards (not popular, I know) to share some QB spying duties like he did vs BUF..

Yes he did. But it was very gradual. So it remains to be seen how he bounces back this time..

Love your posts buddy.

We have a good margin for error in this game. Very small one in AFC-CGame. No need the rush injured player's back. Let it all hang out if we advance next week.
