My son commented on how that hit must have hurt (regarding Hogan). Don't recall what was happening on the other sideThere was a completed pass to Hogan in the 3rd quarter along the left sideline for a 1st down in which he was knocked OOB real hard. Does anyone remember that play? I will try and look it up later if possible.
The reason I bring it up is because someone on the Pats appeared to come out of the backfield on a swing pass to the right and looked completely alone, with all of the defenders heading to the offense's left.
I was wondering if there's any film of that play that might confirm that.

And that is as close as we will ever get to a confirmation that Brady just assumed the LB would not be there on the GL INT. If he starts checking for a LB afterwards on almost every relevant play you know he saw something unexpected that one time and learned from it.
Yep. Like I said, that's one instance where being as diligent in the film room as he is backfires .01% of the time. Kudos to Sutton and the Mike on that play. They fooled the GOAT and it likely cost the team 7 points.
I know he threw at Gronk a couple of time when he was getting mugged and NEVER got a callAny chance Brady knew Ford was offside(saw flag in corner of eye) before throwing INT?
I think the most logical reason he wasn't in there was the fact he already had run the ball over 25 times and the last couple he looked a bit spent, I thought.I'm curious as to what dictated the late switch from Michel to Burkhead. After Rex was stopped on the 4th and 1 I was against him playing again but then he redeemed himself at the end of the game. Did the Pats feel they were too run predictable when Michel was in the game or did his pass blocking seem suspect?
This snap alone makes T.Brown a rich man..
I’m telling myself that he did and that’s why he took a chance on the throw. I like that narrative.Any chance Brady knew Ford was offside(saw flag in corner of eye) before throwing INT?
It doesn't get much more awful than that. Kelce's blocking was pathetic. He lets Van Noy get inside of him but that wasn't the main reason the Pats got the stop.
The OT calls showed what a great sequence of plays Josh called and great execution by Brady.Didn't see this posted yet. It's not super in depth, but I really like the look at the three 3rd and 10 plays in OT. The Chiefs defense had the same problem ours did last year -- communication problems leading to losing leverage and opening up throwing lanes.
