Not me. I want him to go out scratching and clawing for every last bit of ability in him. Just the way he played his whole career.I vividly remember Joe Montana, a shell of himself, sitting on a bench with some obviously killer back pain, in a Chiefs uniform while someone else is under center and even though I was young I remember thinking it wasn't a very fitting way to go out.
I don't want Brady to quit ever, but I'd much rather he go out with some sort of storybook ending than stick around trying to make it work and getting traded or cut or benched.
So, you're speaking for everyone who has suggested he's in decline and all of those people's opinions are the same as yours? You're quite a talented fella!I'm saying he's going to be 33 next year. Nice straw man though. No one claimed he would be a shell of himself. I'm claiming he will start to decline next year cause that is what 33 year old WRs traditionally do. I'm not saying he will be a shell. I'm saying he will start to decline.
Just like every player does eventually.
He should do what Kobe did. Let everyone know in advance.

First of all, let's win number 6.I keep seeing this storyline from the media that if we win, Brady should retire and ride into the sunset. My question is, why? He hasn’t slowed down all that much, arm strength is not an issue and he’s still clutch. He still seems to enjoy playing the game so why would he retire if he’s still playing championship Calibur football? It worked out well for manning because he was a shell of himself due to his neck surgery but TB ages like a fine wine. He’s said he wants to play until he’s 45 and I really hope that’s what ends up happening.
I am all for Brady retiring after he wins Super Bowl LXXV
he will have led the Pats to 2 SB appearances and 1 vistory if he wins SB 53 and retires AFTER Jimmy is gone.I agree Brady has nothing left to prove but there is simply no way he would leave Kraft in the lurch after the Jimmy G trade
I loved Gordon, but we can't risk him coming back. When you think about our high draft picks coming up. This is really the most vulnerable our team will be in the next few years. Reinforcements from IR, maybe flash comes back, the draft, I see us contending for championships.

Yeah, here's a lead pipe cinch honest one: you're a whining baby. My original post wasn't even a reply to you, or anyone else for that matter. Go back and check it. GFY...This makes 2 very dishonest replies to my post. Care to try for a 3rd?
