The mechanics, ****ty body language and lack of mental toughness are what make him hard to watch. Let him compete in camp, but I would thoroughly dread watching him lead this team in any more games.
The team and Mac need a divorce in the worst way.
I’ve never seen someone work so hard to combat criticism of the team/coach.
We suck right now, why we’re supposed to just shut up and love it because 20 years ago is beyond me. I can appreciate Bill and what he’s done in the past but still be dissatisfied at what he’s done lately.
We all want to see this team succeed, but pretending the offense isn’t completely dysfunctional and that we don’t have big losses/injuries on defense won’t change anything. It’s a subpar football team right now and all of these so-called bad teams we play aren’t in much worse, if at all, shape...
Bottom line is the offense isn't good.
Mac is part of the offensive problems as a whole, but OL is the biggest issue. Improve that and maybe we get better performance out of him. I don't think he's the future here, but it's hard to deny the OL is out of sync and playing relatively poorly.
Not getting behind 2 scores before halftime would be an improvement. Against this team we could still mount a comeback, but they need to jump on a lead early this week.
Clean game, no turnovers -- Wilson will do that when you give him time.
21-14, W
I pegged it as an L going in. Can't start like that against a very good team. 2nd quarter was fantastic, thought the D really clamped down on what should be a top 5 offense.
Let's give this team more time before we lump them in with the stink of what we had last year. Never "happy" with a loss...
Kelce, Kittle, Andrews, Goedert, Hockenson, Knox, Waller, Freieurmuth, Schulz, Pitts/Engram. Not ranked, but essentially there's 11 men, if we're being objective, you'd put above HH and/or Gesicki. Doesn't mean these two couldn't have productive seasons or be quality tight ends, but I'm not sure...
