Trade deadline thread

I don't see us trading Dugger. I think he's a corner stone of the defense.
Agreed.

We might even consider paying Dugger $14M a year for the next couple of years, if we can't agree to long term contract.

I suspect that this the NFL will set a record for trade just before the deadline (last 24 hours).

So, you would give up a 3rd to have the same chance as everyone else to sign Young in the offseason. Or perhaps you will want to pay him $20M for next year's play as franchisee.

Of course, we should acquire talent, if we could trade for a player that will be part of our future.
When healthy he is a top talent. Judon is getting old

Translation: Nice having you here Mac, good luck with your next team? Lol

With great conviction I was told multiple teams would be interested in Mac Jones. Same people wrong again.

Dobbs to Min is interesting. I guess they don't think Jaren Hall is ready.

They need DBs
Yup, my friend is a die hard fan and I'm going to have burst his bubble. It's a terrible trade and the 49ers are using too many resources towards one position. He's an injury prone player on an expiring contract. It would be a surprise if he finishes the season.

Meanwhile, their DB's have been their main weakness since they became a contender in 2019.
