If you count calories you will lose weight. 100%.The problem is there's too much misinformation. Take calories for example. There are more calories in a handful of almonds than in a can of Coke. However, if you munch on almonds all day, you'll feel fine and lose weight; if you drink Coke all day, you'll feel miserable and gain weight. Why is that?
Look at the nutrition labels. Notice the sugar to fiber ratio in almonds vs. the sugar to fiber ratio in Coke (no fiber at all). This has been the problem in the American diet for years and why we're having an epidemic of type 2 diabetes.
