Maybe if he had a full off season I'd say trade him for a conditional future 7th round pick(condition is if he gets suspended the browns don't get the 7th pick).

But not during the season. The guy is just going to run the wrong routes. He did when he came back and played in the Browns simple offense. So he'll probably do it with the Patriots in the more complex offense.

Better yet, let's trade Collins, Hightower, Sheard, Ryan, Butler, Ninkovich and three or five other guys plus six draft picks for "hungry Gordon" and another two or three headcase WRs. Hell, let's bring 18 more WRs into training camp and wear out Brady's arm while they can't absorb the offense and run the wrong way on every play. Then Brady can rest up during his suspension and Garoppolo can get sacked trying to drop back with WRs playing tackle and guard.

He is eligible to return to the team on Oct. 3. During his suspension, Gordon may participate in team meetings and other activities but can't practice.
