************ Andy NOBODY is arguing that for 2017.
Huh? Garoppolo as contract is up after this season. If Brady falls to pieces this year there is no discussion so clearly the discussion (as I have mentioned numerous times) is about what happens after this year if Brady plays like Brady.
However tanguay had said there is a WB controversy and Curran literally said Brady has to play well enough THIS YEAR to keep his job. That's wgatvus out there.
They are asking if that will still be true in 2018, 2019, or 2020 and at some point the answer will be yes Jimmy is the better QB.
Jimmy isn't under contract after 2017. That's the point. If there is a decision, which I still consider a complete nobrainer, it needs to be made in 9 months.
If Brady falls to pieces it's an easy decision
If Brady continues to play like Brady it is also an easy decision.
You think that will be 2022
When did I ever say that?
How could I possibly know that?
I am saying whole Brady is still Brady, he remains the QB of the Patriots and this shouldn't even be arguable.
The "opportunity cost" of not being able to keep one backup around long enough to be the replacement when the time comes is minuscule compared to the loss of dumping the best QB in the league who is the primary reason yourctram wins championships.
and that's fine you are entitled to your opinion but you seriously need to stop treating people who have a different opinion like they are complete freakin idiots cuz they aren't.
If me stating my opinion makes you feel like an idiot that's on you.
If I call you an idiot that's on me. I have not done that.
Based on the pressure from his wife
This discussion has nothing to do with retirement. It has to do with him wanting to keep playing. If he decides to retire there is no discussion.
Plus there is absolutely no evidence his wife is PRESSURING him to retire.
and the fact that no QB has ever played at a high level older then 41 it's not an unreasonable opinion to have that 2018 might be Brady's last year.
No QB has ever played at as high a level as Brady at any age, including 39. No QB has ever taken better care of themselves. No QB has ever done most of what Brady has done. This is the point. You have the greatest ever. You have the only player in the history of the game who can will his team to a championship. You have a guy who at 39 is still the best QB in the NFL and in many measure getting better.
Treating him like any other guy is silly.
Just acknowledge that and say I feel differently because Brady has stated over and over again he wants to play to 45.
How about I say what I think and you say what you think. I don't tell you what to say or what you think. Do the sane.
You put more weight on that. I put more weight on Grop not being traded, Schefters report (anyone else and I mean literally anyone I would poo poo that as click baiting garbage but he clearly has sources that are high up in the organization) and Giselles comments. Who's right? We'll find out in March but right now the *********** beating the dead horse has gotten really old.
Then stop posting about it. No one is forcing you to read or respond.
You have said what is on your mind and (incorrectly) tried to tell me what is in mind. There should be nothing more for you to say on the matter if you find it is "a dead horse being beaten by a ***********"
