Thats what i had thought, but Check the chiefs lose thread. someone ran a playoff calculation with us, Houston, and sd finishing 12-4( this only applies if sd wins the afc west, if the chiefs win were good because of head to head over both). And apparently there is a funky tiebreaker that could see Houston 1, sd 2, and us finishing 3. Im still trying to figure it out myself, but its apparently possible we can win out and still not get the bye. The safest thing is to hope Houston loses 1 more, and philly is no guarantee by any means.

I think it's possible, but it's a tall order with a lot of teams having to lose for our SOV to drop below the others.

Edit: If I just add max loses to all the teams we win against(which is impossible since some of the teams play each other still) we can drop to 0.459 SOV which would be below the Texans SOV but not the chargers SOV but their SOV would also drop since we have some common teams. It's possible, but a tall order. Someone would need to try to predict who would win which games but this season has been unpredictable.

Edit 2: Texans SOV will drop if they beat the rats. That helps us.
Chargers SOV will increase playing the ratbirds.
Looks like a tall order if you ask me but you're right, it might be possible.
