I think having a healthy Chris Hogan is going to make Brandin Cooks even more dangerous. Teams have to respect our #2 WR now. Even on Third downs if we go 3 wide Danny Amendola will be even more dangerous. Pick your poison D did I mention our RB's??:D

I totally agree on your WR analysis.

But mate...could you change your avi from the 16 bit cartoon Felix the cat in deep philosophical introspection, to something more relevant? It's making me strangely uncomfortable

Because people on crutches run faster than he does.

With that said while he helps thump Henry, he's a liability with Mariota
Disagree re Mariota. It’s not speed that’s important it’s football instinct and tackling ability.

I think its a combination of both.

Disappointed Rex can't go tonight. Our RB's can shred that defense. But as long and White is good to go it ought to be more than enough.

If you read the play and can tackle speed isn’t a factor, because you are in he right place.
Poor tacklers are done in by quickness. Good LBs never chase anyone (except backside pursuit) they read the play are in the right place and take proper angles.

Agree but Harris can't move for ****. If there is anything outside the hashes and he isn't already there he has zero chance of getting there.

Quote an exaggeration, but:
If that’s the area he is responsible for he will be there. But why would Harris be chasing the sidelines?
He isn’t playing contain on a qb bootleg.
He would be playing in the middle of the field, stuffing inside runs and spying Mariota.
If you are mirroring a qb 10-15 yards apart there is no speed disadvantage that would overcome playing it properly.

That said Harris may be inactive because his role can be filled by others and it is limited.

Harris would be chasing sidelines if Mariota goes wide and they lose the edge.

When it comes to instincts and knowing where to go, Harris > Roberts.

Just plop Harris on the left side as that is where Henry has almost 1/2 his yards...

As much as I think Harris moves slow, this could be a game for him so I'm not sure he'll be inactive as you have KVN (assuming he can move 100% ) and M Flowers both have the ability to get to the sideline and contain Mariota. Throw Chung in there too but he and DMC might be sticking to Walker all night.

I also wonder how Decker and Matthews will do as they both have a decent amount of experience going up vs the NE D.

Nice to watch this feature from S Smith on Cooks + Cooks vs Adoree take

“So you're picking the Patriots?“ “Ah..Yeah, Im not a moron..“

Mariota running a QBs keeper and no one playside being there and relying in an ilb to chase him to the sidelines is like saying we can’t play an OL with bad hands in case a tipped ball comes to them.

Huh, 2 RBs out, first game back for White, first game back for Hogan, and Britt is inactive? Confidence must be high Hogan and White are good to go.

They must feel really confident that hogan will be a bit contributor.

I sure hope so as that's 4 active WRs (plus one deep Slater post route).

Obviously the STs part is an important factor but I think we have enough active DBs to field an 'All DB Defense' :)

Why would Harris not be in the middle?
