I hope he got a working fax this time.

Oh **** I forgot about that. What a dumb ass. You want a big payday, be in town and get it done. Not in a Miami Kinko's relying on a fax machine. Which BTW, even in 2010, who uses that?

Everything's so quiet with hightower. I hope it's not bad news. I just can't picture us losing all our free agents.

One question for you lucked. Let's play out this scenario.

Saints accepted BBs offer of 32 overall for cooks.

Cooks is a free agent next year

How much would it take per year to lock up Cooks? What contract would BB offer?

Cooks is not a free agent next year. If you trade a draft pick for him you are going to pick up his fifth year option. What happens in two years depends on how he performs, how your team looks and how the salary cap rises.

Saw Andre Branch to the Dolphins, got worried for a sec there.

I would like WR Torrey Smith for our Deep threat he filled that role very well in Baltimore.

Two interesting trade options .. no loss on comp pick equation..

Relevant in terms of Harmon ceiling.

Additional context:

Can't wait for @AndyJohnson to rip PFF apart over their Harmon eval

Sure but he produces about 1/3 as much.

Won't disagree that he didn't produce as much as Welker did. But on the flipside he came through in huge moments and Welker unfortunately didn't.

Walker came through plenty of times just not one time that was really important.

I keep hearing this said about Desean Jackson, as if he just runs fly routes and YAC is never there. The way he was used in Philly under Chip Kelly, he ran a lot of qick slants and short crosses, using his quicknees to get open and then his speed to do damage. I don't want him at or near his rumored price, but I think he is highly skilled and not at all one dimensional.
I'm not sure if they were discussing Jackson or Cooks, but I tend to agree that it could be more of a speed role vs. a downfield threat, particularly with Cooks.

This FA is kinda dull, used to get hyped for this stuff. Least there's Celts-Warriors tonight.
