No way Brady’s retiring if he wins number 7. I have always believed the notion he wants to play till he’s 45. With brees out they could win that division next year. They have key free agents but they could free up money and resign david and godwin. Likely AB doesn’t come back.

At the end of the "Tom vs. Time" documentary....we had Brady seated with Giselle on a couch following the loss in Superbowl LII...Brady said, "It was tough...but that he wanted to play on...and perhaps win TWO more". That's what I remember.

But yeah...Tom Sr. said years ago that it would, "all end ugly".......so who knows? Maybe he meant Tom's Patriot career....dunno.

Jimmy G is INJURY PRONE. STAY AWAY
Belichick loves the dude....if he's coming cheap I can picture him back on Pats for like a 3rd or 4th rounder.

Yeah, BB does love the guy but I’d only want him as a backup. Dude can’t stay healthy. Wouldn’t want to waste the resources. Best ability is availability..

In the afc east, we are potentially looking at a qb situation of:

jets - fields
Dolphins - Watson
Buffalo - allen
Patriots - trubisky?

I can see the Bucs taking a flyer on Mac Jones and having him sit for a year and learning from the GOAT.

No, but I don't expect that the difference between middle- and late- third round will be a huge deal in this scenario. Guess they could do a 2nd but that feels a little high. Maybe they'll take a player. They need DBs. JC for Jimmy?
No

i think BB will wait for some things to shake out.......my guess is they have multiple scenarios in play, and are going to wait and see what happens

with the roster holes, and no realistic shot at the few "given" future starters in the draft, they'll let the market start to set itself and then go with the option that makes the most sense - maximum ROI that still allows them to fill the other holes

i wouldn't be surprised to see them semi-aggressive on a vet option, but i wouldn't be surprised to see them wait the market out, either

Cant Newton to Cincinnati. Burrows can take his time coming back.

Rodgers to Dallas. McCarthy and Rodgers won a Super Bowl together. Dak is never going to win jack squat.

Jimmy Baby back to NE. I dont like it but, BB never wanted him to leave to begin with. JB already knows McDaniels and the system.

Given that Jimmy is owed 51 million over the next 2 years, with little guaranteed, I wouldn't give a 3rd for him unless I got to rework his deal before pulling the trigger.

That's just too much money for a guy who hasn't shown he can stay on the field 4 of the last 5 years. I want him here, but with a contract that's more weighted toward per game $$$.

Yeah. You gotta take sports media with a grain of salt sometimes but if some of what has been said about the Belichick/Jimmy relationship is true he’ll be back.

Bill loves him.

The plus that I see here is that if the Pats draft a QB, Jimmy is bound to get hurt at some point during the season and the new QB hopefully gets to play.

Maybe the Pats stumble upon another lower round gem because I doubt that BB will use a high pick with the Jimmy on board.

Are people seriously suggesting the Packers might move on from a QB who threw 48 TDs?

And people complain about BB moving on from Tom Brady after his 2019 season...

Patriots should trade a 2nd for Jimmy solely for the irony.

JG wasn't that far off from winning a ring himself and if the ref doesn't call a ticky tack OPI on Kittle or if he hits Sanders in stride he might have.
