fair enough

So, for you, Le Cosse should be compared to WR's. Do you think that he is a better WR than ANY of Inman, Dorsett and Harris? I don't.
As a pass catcher, time will tell but I like his versatility a lot more than those 3

Eh, while he is inconsistent I like him as an option. Just not a top option. Great as a WR4.

What makes you call him “ inconsistent?” He makes the most of his opportunities and his catch ratio is excellent.

Me.

He's a TE in title only
He surely isn’t a wr.
A TE sized player with average TE type receiving skills who doesn’t block well isn’t a WR. I have no clue where you are coming up with that idea.

None of his measurable are WR level he has never played WR abs his production as a TE isn’t even decent receiving TE level.

He doesn't count against the 53 as long as he is suspended. Of course, if he is suspended for the full year I don't think anybody will take a chance on him in 2020 and he is done.
I’m saying, if he’s suspended again and isn’t allowed to attend training camp or practice with the team for any length of time, he could be done here.

Everyone is assuming that Belichick is going to wait around for this guy, and I’m not convinced that’s necessarily going to be the case.

I don’t believe Belichick is waiting around for Gordon, I think he sees him as a valuable addition at a low cost when available, and nothing more. He knows Gordon can’t be counted upon, but he also knows that he can really help when he’s out there. I would like to see them add one more good receiver this summer, by cut or trade, I don’t care how.

Gordon isn’t needed, he’s a bonus.

Edelman
Thomas
Harry
Inman
Dorsett

Could be the best wr group we have had in many years without Gordon.
If he gets suspended for more than a few games he might gave a hard time finding a role.

Are we sure Slater is a lock? Don't get me wrong, he's been a Patriots god over his career, but he'll be 34 by the second game of the season. Being a gunner on special teams is a young man's game.

The Pats gave him a 2 year extension on March 20th, 2018....he's entering the final year of that extension.

I still see him being the first guy down the field on kicks every time....gonna be tough to push him off the roster, IMO.

Inconsistent in terms of Tom trustsing him enough to be given a significant amount of targets.

Played WR in college and played split out a ton on DEN. He is not an inline TE.

That’s just not true
You must have him confused with a different player.

Wow did you even read this.
He wasn’t a we in college he was a te/hback

The article says nothing about him playing wr in Denver.
If you want to argue he is hback not te ok but he surely isn’t a wr. Not by any stretch of any possible definition

College.

Read my post and this article again.

LaCosse was utilized as an H-back and slot receiver in college, so his receiving chops are not much of a surprise

They also split him out wide in DEN.

Why is there so much nastiness toward Dorsett and love for Gordon around here?

Inconsistent and still the best catch rate among WRs last season.

Some people may not like it...but the numbers don't lie...he had a very high catch rate last season. IMO Edelman, Harry and Dorsett will consistently carry the team at WR for the entire 2019 season.
