...There is no problem activating Lewis, if Belichick want him to be active for the game. Otherwise, there is no point.
The only excusable reason why Langi hasn't already been IRed and somebody signed from the PS, is that Bill expects to add a player from outside the organization during the week.

Buffalo & Miami both have superior - far superior - defenses than we do.
So tell me more about this far superior Miami defense that has allowed 2 long first quarter TD drives to the Jets.

Or it's mcclellins spot and there is no need to activate a guy to be inactive then get exposed to waivers.

McCown 10/15 163 2/0 and Jete have 21 points in first half ON THE ROAD against a defense that is far superior to ours. Hmm

Surely you're not going to blame the last TD scored by the J-E-T-E on Miami's defense, are you?

And BTW, McClellin is not eligible to return to the active roster for 2 more weeks. Surely you're not claiming that Bill will allow Langi to languish on the 53 for that entire time, then IR him and then activate McClellin, are you?

They allowed 14 ang all those stats aside from the last TD IN A HALF AT HOME

Why activate a player who will be inactive the next 2 weeks? Yiu would have to waive him after. Langi isn't suffering by being on the roster.
Care to explain thr advantage of adding a player to be inactive then cut in 2 weeks?

Wow. Lots of pessimistic bums in this thread. I'll be cheering my drunk ass off at the game while being thankful every second i'm not here to witness the garbage that will be spewed in the gamethread. Is there seriously speculation that Gilmore is faking it? That BB the GM is once again hurting BB the coach?

Just set a calendar event for February 5th to dig up this thread and a number of others after the Pats win another Super Bowl.

Jete score again against the far superior Dolphins. 28 points pushing 300 yards in less than 3 quarters

What's your point? We gave Gilmore 40 million guaranteed. He's going nowhere

If his replacements consistently outplay he most certainly will be going elsewhere. His contract is irrelevant. This isn't Washington. That's not how Bill operates.

And what's this "we" nonsense? I certainly didn't give the green light to signing this soft, undisciplined, low football IQ player. Reminds me of the JD Drew and Hanley Ramirez signings with the Red Sox. If you are putting up decent numbers and the fan base you play for celebrates your departure, something is wrong. This guy has too many holes in his game. But Belichick decided he had to have a corner who could defend big, tall WRs. So here he is here on an overpay. Nevermind the fact that he is consistently out of position and routinely gets beat vertically. But he can blanket Julio Jones on a five yard slant. Not tonight, but theoretically, if he could stay on the field.

Wait. Now the FAR BETTER BILLS DEFENSE has given up 27 points and 371 passing yards to Tampa. And Winston is playing with a separated shoulder. And the great bill defense is at home.

To piggyback, the FAR superior Bills defense has allowed 27 to the Bucs AT HOME, while we allowed 14 to them on the road.

Edit: AJ you’re too fast.

Although captain stone appears very slow responding to how far superior defenses can do worse against the same teams.

the bills have an overrated defense/team.

pats defense is really bad though. if the ****tiest qb's like mccown have career games, what is ryan going to do tonight?

Do you usually lose when you have a career game?

McCown put up more points against Miami TWICE and Miami held Ryan to 17 in Atlanta.

They can't go into this game with 3 corners can they? I hope Lewis gets promoted from the practice squad.

no promotion. But 3 corners is fine. McCourty can move there is they have and injury.

McCown played better today than he did against the Pats last week. Last week wasn't anything close to a career game for him; he's not consistently good, but he's had plenty of really good games over the course of his career.
