So let me get this straight.

The Pats lost their #1 WR when Edelman got hurt. Their #3 WR when Mitchell got hurt. Their #2 WR for half the season when Hogan got hurt. Their best defensive player and #1 LB when Hightower got hurt. Their #3 LB when McClellan went to IR. Their #2LB (and current #1) has been out a third of the season. Their #3 DT for the season in Valentine. Not to mention their best OLman in Cannon, and have had to play with their #2 AND #3RT for long stretches this year. And lest I forget their top 2 draft picks have been unable to play a single snap this season. Besides all that they lost their #1RB, their #2 DE, their #3DE and their #2CB in FA.

Yet the perception around the nation is that the Pats have had good luck with injuries and their injuries don't affect THEM like other teams. And the mediots can know what I've written and pronounce the Pats "fully healthy" for the Titans game.

It's about as accurate as their coverage with everything else about our team.

When do pats have to release an injury report? and if so, do they have to say why Mitchell missed practice? (could easily be for an illness who knows).

I would imagine Hogan is pretty close to healthy. He won practice player of the week prior to the jets game meaning he had a good week of practice. I think Rappoport also said Hogan could've played if they needed him but they played it conservative with any borderline players.

Today, I think. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday reports occur when they play on Sunday.

Hopefully Hogan is ready for the AFCCG. Otherwise....the Steelers will have a clear advantage.
We’d have to utilize the RB’s in the passing game more, as well as try to get more creative with Cooks, Dorsett, and Britt. Still would have Gronk. Maybe get the running game going a bit more, like it has been lately.

There’s more than one way to win a game, as you saw when they played a few weeks ago, but I agree that having Hogan at full speed would be huge.

Somehow the other thread changed and was too many pages into a new area.

So I made this one for this weeks practice news and the other members can discuss as they please.

That makes more sense.. I was surprised they could just do it hours before the game..
What I posted also. Can't trust anyone anymore. Certainly not "league sources."

Is that successful to you?

Yup.

As a rookie in Colts "organization" he played with FIVE different QBs under two different OCs.

Last season, with Luck healthy and the coaching staff settled, he improved significantly in terms of catch rate and ypc.

Not "successful" at all by your standards, apparently.

Apparently, the rules regarding Saturday night games are different in the post-season. During the regular season, the Pats would have until 4:00pm Saturday.

I see now reason to cut a wide receiver if Mitchell is ready to be activated. The 53 man roster is much less important now. There is lots of flexibility when we are taking about 3 games. There are many that possibiblycould be IRed, allowing us to carry the extra WR.

This presumes that Mitchell is seen as being physically able. Both Britt and Dorsett are competitors for next year's roster.

I think Gillislee may be the one if Rex is healthy enough.

I wonder if the 2nd part of his previous tweet is accurate - i.e., that Mitchell could still be activated on the Saturday before the AFCC, or if he reverts to season ending IR after 4pm on Friday.
