Ezekiel Elliot Fined

Not a big fan of the off the field Elliot, but in a week where we find the NFL absorbing black eye after black eye on how it is not cracking down on Domestic violence, it is comforting to know they are showing us what is really important by cracking down HARD on the Salvation Army.

That's why the call it entertainment!

Meh, Elliot is a douche. He should be fined just for being.

Rogah and his minions have really f... ed up the whole direction of the NFL...

A little over 13K. It doesn't seem right considering the NYFL has been encouraging the players to celebrate.
The thing was in the end zone. What did they think would happen?

So dumb.

This is a small-minded response in an age that values creativity in leadership.
Cracking down on this absolutely demonstrates a complete lack of judgment and the ability to think.
If the corporate lawyers focus groups conclude it’s OK to support the military or breast cancer, then d%#*!@t, you all need your 17 pieces of camouflage and pink bling. But if we don’t have a corporate view on the Salvation frickin Army then that’s a violation.
That is a clear embarrassing demonstration of an organizational culture with no one brave enough to say anything positive and no leader willing to listen.
I just listened to a business speaker (Josh Linkner) who told a story about Air Canada. They have a plane stalled on the runway for seven hours in a snowstorm and quickly run out of food and drink. “Listen, there is absolutely nothing we can do but stay here and wait” the pilot repeatedly tells his customers. Until there is a loud repeated banging on their door while on the snowy tarmac and it’s a pilot from competitor WestJet who heard the predicament on the radio. “Here’s a dozen pizzas from WestJet. We do things differently.”
There are no WestJet pilots in NFL leadership. Thoughtless suits who can’t take advantage of a wonderful opportunity to do good without a market study.
