She doesn't like how football is being ruled in general. As someone else pointed out in another thread, The NFL* is turning into something other than football as we knew it. All the new (and revised) rules have done is muddy the waters. Plus the commentators suck for the most part.

There are a lot more things to complain about the NFL for than halftime shows.

Personally the half time shows are hit and miss for me. Sometimes they are really good and sometimes bad or in between.

However why change something that brings in an audience? The superbowl is not just about die hard fans, it’s become almost a holiday in America that everyone in the household/party enjoys. My wife is a fan of the Patriots but not diehard where it ruins her week if they lose. But I do know she is not missing the halftime show.
