I like Regina's too... But I ass-umed that Bill & DHop were coming from Foxborough, and I didn't want them to have to deal with city traffic; so I decided instead on a couple of places south of downtown, near some of my ol' hangouts...
Bill is definitely neutered and does not stray far

Foxboro house of pizza any good?

Dont forget seafood. Kinda hot for chowder and steamers, but lobster rolls hit the spot.

If a team really wants him and doesn’t have cap space they can theoretically do creative accounting. Something like a 5 year deal, $20 million signing bonus, but the last 3 years are void years to spread out the signing bonus. So it’s really a 2 year deal. Salary in year 1 could be minimal ($1m) and then something like $15m in year 2. It would only be a $5m cap hit year 1, $19m year 2 and then a dead cap hit of $12m in year 3 when the deal voids. He could claim he essentially got a two year/$36m deal based on signing bonus and salary which would be an AAV of $18m.

Not directing this directly at you, but I am tired of this Thornton soft tissue injury stuff. It makes it sound serious when we have no idea. A mild sprained ankle is a soft tissue injury.
I hear ya / just too bad we’re onto another year and so far all we’ve seen is one good OTA day from a week ago and nothing since…. Fingers crossed it’s not serious snd he’s ready for trading camp - we’re counting a LOT on this guy….

I like Papa Gino’s for chain pizza
Best is Regina’s in the North End
The Chocolatier is more in your wheel house now

Regina is very good but you have to try Umbertos on Hanover. They're legendary, used to have lines down the street, around the corner. Seriously though best pizza I've ever had. Regina, Santarpios etc all good but you have to try Umbertos.

He will be a Titan
They have to make up for losing AJ.
I hope not, I dam sure want d hop.. but he left without a deal.. so for the time being I'll have to temper my hope.

Camp is a month away.. from what Curran mentioned on weei.. the "injuries " to juju, Thornton and boutee are not anything serious as the team kept them out for precautions. It was the same thing with moss in 07 he was out of minicamp due to hamstring issues.

So I'm looking at the guys on the roster, we still have a solid team without hop however he makes us a dangerous offense!

I came hoping for news.

Derek Mason?
Believe it was Derrick Mason.
Same. Well I like your Derrick Mason prediction. He did take time to reflect on what if he had signed with the Pats, and admitted family was part of why he ended up with the Ratbirds instead. He was a free agent in 2005, right after the Pats won their third Lombardi trophy.

You are correct - It was Derrick Mason. He is the poster child of why you shouldn't let your wife get involved in your business decisions. This also explains why Bill wasn't too fond of him telling him to "shut the **** up Derrick" on the sidelines during a game against the Ravens. I'm guessing Bill thought Derrick was coming to NE.
Could be...I think their was also a similar situation with a Dolphins player...cant remember his name.
I don't remember Rob Konrad like Captain said, but Jason Taylor turned down the Pats in 2009 to return to the Dolphins.
First I've heard of that...Dam!

I remember Bill trying to sign him for either the 2003 or '04 seasons I forget which; I wanted him here too, and was bummed when he re-signed with the LOLphins... Perfect FB/TE for both the passing & running games because he could do both decently enough to keep defenses guessing; definitely not as dynamic as Kyle Jusczyk, but I think he could've helped for a couple of seasons before calling it quits.
Richie Anderson was torn between the two Bill's during the 2003 offseason. In the end, he made the wrong decision and wanted to stay loyal to Parcells and signed with the Cowboys. The Pats not only beat the Cowboys that year, but went on to win the Super Bowl in 2003 and 2004.

Anybody else remember other players making poor decisions and passing on the Pats?

I vaguely remember Taylor flirting with the Pats. I think it was an effort to get more $ out of the Dolphins. At that point, he was near the end and well entrenched as a face of the franchise. I remember thinking there was no way the guy would leave.

CJ Golson is reporting per a source a verbal deal has been reached with the Pat's and Hopkins 2 years, 27M
To back you up, I am gonna post the tweet, adding my own who the fekk is CJ Ghoston? editorial.

Hop and Jones are close friends and Pac-Man said he doesn’t leave NE without signing a contract.
