Deandre Hopkins Visiting Patriots Next Week

Mike Vrabel would also go the extra mile and up the ante because he's bidding against the Patriots. The Titans regret not paying A.J. Brown so they will obviously overpay for D-Hop.
I don't know about that. You know what I'm hearing the last few days. It's the LACK of other teams moving in to add their banners to the fight for Hopkins. In fact the silence is DEAFENING.

I think the Bills are out because Diggs is already pissed about the number of targets he gets, I doubt he wants to share them with Hopkins. KC COULD be a spot if a ring is the most important factor, but IIRC their pretty happy with their receiving room, and are up against the cap are starting to feel the weight of some big contracts.

I mean it only takes one or two more teams to jump into the mix, but WHERE are they?

.....and as indicated by several of my past posts, I am ALL in on adding Cooks either as a consolation prize or in a package that brings the pair of them in. Either way, I just wish they'd both go somewhere so we can get back to talking about the player who ARE here. I heard there was some news about Jack Jones.....anyone want fill me in on all the noise?

And to your point.. the Titans GM got fired over the mishandling over trading AJ brown.. just shows how much equity having 6 rings and Almost 2 decades of winning can buy our GM/HC.

The reality is, this late in the game, many teams have their rosters set entering camp and have little money to throw around. Arizona did him no favors by waiting so long to cut him.

And I think Vrabel's leash is shortening. The talent is draining and that will be the beginning of the end for him.

Agreed, that titans team at one point was pretty good and had some nice pieces on offense and defense.

If that's true that hops trying to duck training camp.. then that's worrisome..
He won’t skip training camp going to a new team. There’s no rush to sign because there’s a month between OTA’s and camp begins where nothing happens. We’re anxious to get him signed, nobody else is.

Maybe I'm a homer but if the money is the same it's the Patriots he has to choose right?

I keep hearing casuals on Twitter say "Tennessee has Henry!" But that's all they have. And henry is older now. Other than that the roster is poor. They probably won't make playoffs even in a weak division. BUT Hopkins will get all the targets if that's what he wants

Patriots have Stevenson in the backfield who is an upcoming star running back, 2 solid tight ends and will be next to Juju/parker/Bourne. So much better receiver group.

Only thing Tennessee has is a weaker division

I think the Titans’ QB situation probably already has them crossed off Hopkins’ list. It isn’t in his best interest to make that known. He doesn’t even know who will be throwing to him in Tennessee. It is probably going to be Tannehill, but it could end up being either Willis or Levis.

Jax is clearly the leader in that division.. I really like what Jax has created with thier culture and how thier team has gotten better under Pedersen.. if we can achieve what they have this season.. making the playoffs and actually winning a playoff game then we'd be in great shape going forward!

Yep Mac and even Zappe are better options in that QB scenario. D-Hop decision shouldn't be too long: there is nothing else here to see.

Good points also the AFC East have more elite players pound for pound if D-Hop wants to add himself to that list. IF the Patriots do well with him more recognition and endorsements.

Maybe he’s looking at the corners in our division and is concerned about stats if it’s a incentive laden contract.

Crap: Gardener and Ramsey just to name a few well hopefully D-Hop is a Team player...knowing he can occupy either to free up other people.

I have no idea who these guys are, but they say a source "inside the building" of the Patriots says Hopkins is signing with the Patriots. He claims this is an unimpeachable source. Just putting it out there. I have no idea what to make of it. Tyler Siskey is a former Alabama guy so the source could be Mac Jones or Bill O'Brien if true.

For what it's worth, Hopkins had 10 catches for 98 yards in his game against the Rams last year. Can't say 100%, but my guess would be Ramsey was on him for a good chunk of that game.

He also had 10 for 103 against Lattimore and the Saints.

I don't think this guy would shy away from good CB matchups.

I want to know who the source was.

Listening to their accents and their background.
Could it be Bill O’Brien himself?
Or would Mac be foolish enough to leak that kind of news?

That and a DECADE of getting top 5 picks will get you some pretty good talent.
