Jerry Jones wants Roger Goodell gone - here's who he wants instead [Pro Football Weekly]
Reports are that Jerry Jones wants to replace Roger with Bill Polian. Even considering how much pull Jerry has, I can't see this happening. But it really speaks to how divorced from reality this guy has become. Dementia setting in? The clown doesn't look so bad now, comparatively speaking, does he? I guess we should be careful what we wish for.
I have to give Jerry credit. Never in my wildest imaginations would I have concocted a scenario as outrageous and nightmarish as this. Then again, I'm not insane. At least I don't think I am. I wouldn't really know if I were, would I? That's the nature of the affliction.
Not that I'm making excuses for Kraft, but maybe part of his thinking in laying down for Goodell, then and now is that it is better to have the devil you know in power than the unknown. I'm sure most of the owners would love nothing more than to install a commissioner that hates the Patriots as much as they do. Especially with the Pats window seemingly shrinking with Jimmy traded and Brady turning 75 this year.
