I'm not sure.
The ending to season one was Bonkers. I have no idea what they are going to do with that character and story!
Agree. It'll be interesting how deeply they bring Kreese into the fold.

I might be loco but I really think that Patterson can give us everything Cooks did in terms of stretching the field and giving us a vertical offense,
I wish I 100% agree but the book on Patterson is he can't get the separation on posts and comebacks.

Wonder Twin powers.......

Oh boy! If Rowe wins the starting job that tells us the CB group is not very “deep”.

It’s so early for Howe to say this nonsense.

He should be saying “Rowe is competing for a roster spot”.

I don't think it's nonsense to suggest that the two veteran corners are competing for the 2nd spot until one of the rookies shows they're in the mix.

It sounds as if the offense is having its way with the defense so far...
But this board was ball washing the new DC just the other day.
The D must be practicing Bill's Bend and Break 4th quarter D
Get Wrecks on the phone

This happens.....EVERY YEAR! This is why people in San Diego and now Los Angeles never take them seriously.

It's so crazy everytime people say "this is the most talented roster since ________". It just goes to show injuries can turn that upside down in a minute.

Haven’t heard much on these rookie LBs we drafted. I was never a duke dawson fan but it’s early.
The first padded practice is Saturday IIRC so we will get a better idea then. I’m praying that one of them is a diamond in the rough.

Definitely has excellent speed, maybe not 4.33-4.35 speed like Cooks and Dorsett, but I believe he ran a 4.42, which is still elite speed.

Field position is part of the evaluation. Not all of it.

It's a significant part.

If an offense is frequently going 3-and-out inside their own 30, the punter will (hopefully) have a big leg and a very high gross average yardage per punt. That's not the Patriots' offense, typically.

If the offense is more frequently punting from somewhere between the 45s, a "big leg" isn't nearly as important as having the distance control to consistently place the ball inside the opponent's 15 or closer (and away from the returner). That's going to kill the punter's gross average yardage number.

Distance control, and directional control, are much more critical than max distance, specially for the Pats.

Only a few mediots say the Chargers have a “talented” roster and they don’t as a whole. They have some niece pieces on defense. Their offense on the other hand, is horrendous.

i’ll never understand why there are some mediots in love with Philip Rivers. He’s an awful teammate and is a perineal loser.

Everyone in LA are jumping on the Rams bandwagon.

And he 40 lbs heavier

I'm not sure it's only a few. I've been hearing the exact same sentiment multiple years in a row. Even a few days ago. I guess the saying is true "repeat a lie often enough and soon you'll believe it."
