That's because instead of doing the actual work, the Patriots tried to get by with one of these,

It's easy, and only takes a few moments. They don't get to half those super bowls without Bill, I get it, the team sucks, not fun to watch and its ruining our Sundays but lets give the man his due.He definitely cost him SB 52
Once he retiresThey don't get to half those super bowls without Bill, I get it, the team sucks, not fun to watch and its ruining our Sundays but lets give the man his due.
Broncos players literally said they didn’t want to play in Foxboro. Seems like it would have been better not to punt on the last 2 games of the season to make them come to Foxboro for the playoffs instead of the other way around….That one is obvious, but the year they lost to the Broncos stands out also.
I loved my Dad too, but it was tough watching him go through dementia. They don't get to half those super bowls without Bill, I get it, the team sucks, not fun to watch and its ruining our Sundays but lets give the man his due.
Of course he did. For starters, they were on the brink of a 3 peat, but Bill started exiling players without any replacements in 2005 such as Ty Law and Willie McGinest. He traded for Duane Starks and signed the legend of Monty Biesel. Had plenty of time to address MLB after Bruschi's stroke, but did nothing else. Did it again in 2006 letting Deion Branch and David Givens go.Begs the question I don’t want to ask…after the first two, is possible BB COST Tom MORE superbowls?
Bill would've been trending towards being out of a job had Brady not amounted to anything. Kind of like uh....now.They don't get to half those super bowls without Bill, I get it, the team sucks, not fun to watch and its ruining our Sundays but lets give the man his due.
And the utter uselessness that is BoneyT, who couldn’t make the catch that would have been a shot of adrenaline if not an actual score.Another brutal loss.
Defense played BETTER
Didn't matter
Offensive line was the root cause
No. Well, the Chargers did in the kneel down.Did either team even get in the red zone?
I'm not going to argue that perspective since we suck now and it's because of Bill most people lose sight of those earlier years when Bill was at the top of his game. He's old now, time to go, maybe retire and go fishing off Nantucket or maybe take a job with a good team for a couple years to beat Shula, but he's done here but had a great run.Bill would've been out of a job had Brady not amounted to anything. Of course neither one of them fixes the problem on their own. They need a talented qb and actual weapons around him, it’s really not confusing. The Pats didn’t even get in FG position. That was the most pathetic NFL offense I’ve ever seen! The complete lack of talent is obvious. Years of awful drafting have reduced the Pats to a laughing stock.
I don’t think either Williams or Mayes fixes this, I would sign a veteran and draft skill players.
Firing the GM ( and his kids) should Be done now
Some of these guys don't seem to realize how age affects people, especially a coach of an NFL team. How many coaches coach into their 70's? I can tell myself from getting older I'm slowing down, don't have half the energy I used to have, you try to make up for it with wisdom but only so much you can do.Father Time always wins.
I think they were in FG range once and a sack or two pushed them back, not that one FG would have helped.Of course neither one of them fixes the problem on their own. They need a talented qb and actual weapons around him, it’s really not confusing.
