Broncos players literally said they didn’t want to play in Foxboro. Seems like it would have been better not to punt on the last 2 games of the season to make them come to Foxboro for the playoffs instead of the other way around….

Of course he did. For starters, they were on the brink of a 3 peat, but Bill started exiling players without any replacements in 2005 such as Ty Law and Willie McGinest. He traded for Duane Starks and signed the legend of Monty Biesel. Had plenty of time to address MLB after Bruschi's stroke, but did nothing else. Did it again in 2006 letting Deion Branch and David Givens go.

He's old now, time to go, maybe retire and go fishing off Nantucket or maybe take a job with a good team for a couple years to beat Shula, but he's done here but had a great run.

I don’t think either Williams or Mayes fixes this, I would sign a veteran and draft skill players.

Some of these guys don't seem to realize how age affects people, especially a coach of an NFL team. How many coaches coach into their 70's? I can tell myself from getting older I'm slowing down, don't have half the energy I used to have, you try to make up for it with wisdom but only so much you can do.
