Good points. Availability has been problematic for him.
Sneakily.
I don't want to put the 'made of glass' tag on him yet, but it's now 3 injuries where he's missed time over two years (last year was just one game). Injured, came back, injured again this year. 22/34 starts.

Agreed. Had Campbell been available would you say he would had made a pro bowl case? Campbell has been very good this season. But to your points.. like BB always said availability is the best ability a player can have.

Tough to say, because the pro bowl is kind of a joke (guy with 6 games named a starter). I wouldn't, personally, but he played at that level at times this year.

True. More of a popularity contest? I tend to put more value in all pro selections. ?

They are literally number 1 in total defense as of right now.
And…? That doesn’t make them an “elite” defense necessarily. That means they’re the best defense at that statistic at this point in time in the year 2025.

I said they’re good - but I’ve definitely seen better defenses over the years. Their offense isn’t electric. Their coaching is middling. Not a super scary team. I would be more worried about Jacksonville.

What makes Houston D so dangerous is thier pass rush is relentless.. they are stacked at all 3 levels of the defense. Thier LBs are excellent in coverage too..

Thier secondary is tremendous and they are ultra physical.. sure thier aggressiveness can be used against them.. I was a skeptic on them until I saw what did they did to Josh Allen.. 8 sacks.. jmo..

Either way, we’re gonna most likely have to face the Denver or Houston defense. It is what it is. **** it, we ball..IMWT..

We're already near that point with Maye throwing deep; basically the best defense is to mug the receiver and hope you don't get DPI.
Exhibit A is Boutte being tackled and concussed before the pass even arrived, while the ref saw no foul.

Texans are my sleeper pick for the Super Bowl.

For AFC I think it’s either New England, Buffalo or Houston. I don’t see Denver making it
