Pats are not getting the bye.
I'm happy with a home playoff game. Way exceeded expectations for 2025.
And yes the team hasn't played well coming off extended time off this season
We’re not losing to NYJ/MIA. Denver could easily lose to the Chargers; they already did..It’s highly possible; if not likely. Either way, there aren’t any scary teams in the league this year. Allen is the only QB that gives me pause…he’s incredible.

As much as I want to lean into the trend of home not being our strong field, it's an entirely different beast in the playoffs and that rest means everything in the post season. If this team can't stomach a bye, it won't cough up a SB win.
You could even include the Raiders loss on the Pats being too comfortable and lacking an edge.

If I was a bronco fan I’d be getting nervous about being a 1 and done even with the bye. One of the weakest top seeds in recent memory.

Let Denver get fat and happy off 2 weeks with hardly any hitting so nobody suffers injury.

Maye had a terrible passing game post bye. Balls sailing high and off target. 60% completion rate, 0 TDs and 1 INT (should have been 2 INTs)

U r thinking that Denver will not lose till championship game. If they lose we retain hone field advantage if we keep winning.

Only part about this is that we don't get the bye . Let's hope bills lose to eagles and we win this week .

If so. We can take last week off .

Could be the beginning of the end of the honeymoon era for Dan Campbell and the Lions. They had no business losing to the 49ers in the NFCCG up 24-10 with a chance to go 27-10, losing to the Commanders in last year's divisional round and now missing the playoffs.
These out of the box HCs come in and at first their message resonates with the team. Then success comes and that confirms the method and message, but over time the players start to tune the HC out. The plan isn't new anymore and they've heard the same speech a dozen times.

After the way this season has gone for the Lions, I am starting to think that it was Ben Johnson who was the main reason they had such a high octane O for so many years. With their talent, there is no way they should not have made the playoffs this year. And they might have more yards after Dan took over the play calling but there was a drop off in many other areas. Just look at what Ben is doing in Chicago. They have a chance to be the #1 seed with two games to go. That is impressive !!

think the nfl will have us and broncos playing at the same time to avoid this

The Jets would be nuts to try and win. I have not see the new Miami QB play.

LAC has to play Houston next. I would like to see a rematch of Bills vs Pats.

2024 Chiefs was the worst #1 seed I've seen since the 2008 Titans.

It’s a damn shame that NBA player Nikola Jokic had more points than QB Max Brosmer had throwing yards last night…

Mad Max 12 is all about wins, not stats !

No, they’ll have us play first so we take the week off only to find Denver later loses to the Chargers and we blew our shot at the bye.

The NFL always has teams playing alongside each other (same time slot) if the outcome of the games affect each other.

We‘ve lost 3/8 at home; I’m not entirely sure what our HFA is ….. ???

I see us having great home advantages over JAX, LAC, HOU DEN, BUF and PIT. (FIFY. )
I see us having general team advantages over LAC, DEN, and PIT.
JAX, HOU are the two likely dogfights that you would assume would be better off to face at home.
BUF is a tossup wherever we play based on health, we win if we get key guys back in time to be in form.
semantics

You really don't think that team has a better chance at home against everyone but perhaps BUF? Perhaps it also doesn't matter much against PIT.

But against DEN, LAC and JAX? You really think that these teams will play as well in New England weather? My guess is that betting line would be 6 points different with regard to DEN.

Let's ask another question. Do you think that the betting line would be home and away? And yes, I do think that bettors are better judges of potential results than the average fan.

The lions have had a good team for only two years.
