ICYMI: Kyle Van Noy Returns Home To Nevada For Worthy Cause
Winslow Townson - USA TODAY Sports
New England Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy used some of his remaining spare time before Training Camp for a great cause this past weekend.
Van Noy, a Reno, Nevada native, returned home to take some special guests from a local foster care agency to a Reno Aces minor league baseball game.
“I was born in Reno, so this a special homecoming for us,” Van Noy told KOLO TV. “Marissa and I really want to give back to the community here, and children and foster families are especially close to our hearts. We raise funds all year through our Foundation so we can do special outings like this to let these kids know they are cared about and can achieve anything they put their minds to.“
The Van Noy family has always held a special passion for making a difference in the lives of children seeking adoption, both Kyle and his father in law were in foster care.

.@KVN_03 returned to Reno today for a very classy gesture. The former McQueen High star treated 53 people in foster care to an @Aces game. I caught up with Van Noy, who was also adopted, to find out what impact he hopes to have on those who share similar upbringings. pic.twitter.com/U5n5XQZtvs
