Heading into the upcoming 2025 Patriots season, the team can ill-afford to be without any of its top players on either side of the football.
Fortunately, one report on Tuesday seemingly has them hopefully seeing one of their injured players return when they do take the field in Week one against the Raiders.
According to NFL Reporter Jordan Schultz, the injury Gonzalez sustained on Monday was a hamstring injury that isn’t expected to see him miss much time. While it appears he could miss some additional action during camp, Schultz added that he expects the cornerback to be out there for Week 1.
The Patriots did lose two possible starters on Tuesday. Tackle Morgan Moses and center Garrett Bradbury both left practice for undisclosed reasons during the session, which saw Demontrey Jacobs and Jared Wilson, respectively, stepping in for them.
This is the time of year when guys tend to get nicked up, and unfortunately, they’ve already had a couple of guys take a hit over the first couple of days.
As a result, all three will be ones to keep an eye on as the Patriots continue preparing for their first exhibition game against Washington next week.
