Patriots Injuries:

With what’s essentially another pivotal game for the New England Patriots as they look to get back to .500 this weekend, it looks like they’re going to be without a couple of key names on both sides of the football.

With the New England Patriots set to travel to Cleveland tomorrow for their match-up against the Browns on Sunday, Bill Belichick continued to offer little in terms of Mac Jones’ potential return this weekend.

Some good news on Wednesday as rookie wide receiver Tyquan Thornton was out at practice, which hopefully marks the start of his return toward getting back on the field.

Considering the reaction coming off the field on Sunday by Mac Jones after Calais Cambpell landed on his left ankle, it sounds like the news on his injury is somewhat promising.

Sunday’s battle between the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens was painful enough given the mistakes and miscues for Mac Jones and the offense, but it looks like there was a potential injury added to the insult for Jones at the end of this one.

As the Patriots get set for what should be a tough battle with the Baltimore Ravens, it sounds like the status of one of their key players could be in question.

Coming off of Sunday’s loss down in Miami, there’s no question that the Patriots could use a win down in Pittsburgh to try and turn around their 0-1 start.  However, it looks like they’re already facing a little bit of adversity.

Just days after scoring the New England Patriots’ lone touchdown in Miami against the Dolphins, it looks like running back Ty Montgomery is going to be sidelined for the foreseeable future.

Sunday’s opener down in Miami didn’t exactly go the way the New England Patriots likely wanted, but they potentially ended up seeing one of their key players suffer an injury during the 20-7 loss against the Dolphins.

Patriots CB Jonathan Jones, who went on injured reserve last week, will reportedly undergo shoulder surgery today and that will end his season. 

Some started predicting Brady’s demise as Brady’s totals dropped, but instead, the numbers essentially show that Brady simply wasn’t himself while dealing with the injury.

It sounds like Garoppolo is expected to miss Thursday night’s game against the Texans due to the injury he suffered Sunday and possibly longer.

Bill Belichick has said on more than one occasion that things can change pretty quickly when it comes to injuries, and Sunday’s game against the Dolphins was a prime example of what he was talking about.

Disaster struck on Sunday and will likely affect the next two weeks for the Patriots, who may be feeling pretty smart for drafting rookie quarterback Jacoby Brissett.
