NFL Coaching News: They didn't even wait until Black Monday to start the beheadings

Commitment would be coming from the Krafts.

If it's true that McD only backed out of the Indiot deal at the last minute because he was given reassurances from Kraft that he would take over from Belichick, then why would he now be taking interviews with anyone?

He's going on interviews so that he can tell Goodell that he was never given the assurances he was given. :D

There are two reason: 1. To keep up with appearances since succession guarantees are verboten because if the Rooney Rule. 2. Keep the Krafts feet to the fire so they have renew the succession guarantee and possibly sweeten the offer a little.

Packers are adding Adam Gase to the Head coach list.

TBH I am somewhat surprised Gase left the Jete interview without a contract. He'd be an excellent candidate to bring Darnold along. Oh wait...excellent choice...Jete...I guess I shouldn't be surprised they let him get out of town to interview with a real organization. Jete gotta jete
