Trivia question: aside from Saints at Vikings and Packers at Rams, which other Week 8 game features two teams with winning records?

Answer: Thursday Night Football, with Miami at Houston. I would have never considered this game as an answer to that question without looking it up, personally.

National Broadcasts:
Thursday Night: 4-3 Miami @ 4-3 Houston (Fox/NFLN); Joe Buck, Troy Aikman
Sunday Morning: 3-4 Philadelphia vs 3-4 Jacksonville from London (NFLN); Rich Eisen, Michael Irvin, Steve Mariucci
Sunday Night: 5-1 New Orleans @ 4-2-1 Minnesota (NBC); Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth
Monday Night: 5-2 New England @ 2-5 Buffalo (ESPN); Joe Tessitore, Beth Mowins, Jason Witten, Booger McFarland

CBS Single Game:
08-CBS-V3.png

Red: 3-4 NY Jets @ 3-3 Chicago; Jim Nantz, Tony Romo
Blue: 2-4-1 Cleveland @ 3-2-1 Pittsburgh; Ian Eagle, Dan Fouts
Green: 4-3 Baltimore @ 4-2 Carolina; Greg Gumbel, Trent Green, Bruce Arians
Yellow: 3-4 Denver @ 6-1 Kansas City; Kevin Harlan, Rich Gannon
Orange: 2-5 Indianapolis @ 1-5 Oakland (LATE); Andrew Catalon, James Lofton

Fox Early Game:

Red
: 4-2 Washington @ 1-6 NY Giants; Kenny Albert, Charles Davis
Blue: 3-3 Seattle @ 3-3 Detroit; Kevin Kugler, Ronde Barber, Chris Spielman
Green: 3-3 Tampa Bay @ 4-3 Cincinnati; Chris Myers, Daryl Johnston
Gray: NO GAME due to local home game on CBS

Fox Late Game:

Red
: 3-2-1 Green Bay @ 7-0 LA Rams; Thom Brennaman, Troy Aikman
Blue: 1-6 San Francisco @ 1-6 Arizona; **** Stockton, Mark Schlereth

No Joe Buck on Fox this Sunday (busy with his primary job: baseball).

Bye Week:
3-4 Atlanta Falcons
3-4 Dallas Cowboys
3-4 Tennessee Titans
5-2 LA Chargers

Odds as of Thursday Night:
Dolphins at Texans (-7½), [o/u 45]
Eagles (-3) vs Jaguars, [43]
Browns at Steelers (-8), [49]
Broncos at Chiefs (-10), [53½]
Jets at Bears (-7½), [45]
Redskins at Giants (pk), [42½]
Seahawks at Lions (-3), [49]
Buccaneers at Bengals (-4), [54½]
Ravens (-2½) at Panthers, [44]
Colts (-3) at Raiders, [50½]
Niners (-1) at Cardinals, [42½]
Packers at Rams (-9½), [56½]
Saints at Vikings (pk), [52]
Patriots (-14) at Bills, [44]

A very interesting early game. Before the year started this could be argued to be a super bowl preview. Now it is a game in which the season for one of these teams pretty much comes to an end.

One of the Eagles or Jags will drop to 3-5. That is pretty much impossible to come back from.

More proof that Patriots aside the NFL stands for Not For Long.

Excellent tackle by Wentz..:)

Who do we want to win? I’d kinda rather see the Jags win. Yeah they’re AFC and they beat us but they are hardly a threat.

First things first. I want the Jags to lose. The Eagles need to get through the entire NFC to face us assuming we make the SB. That will be tough.

I just want the Eagles and their fans to look dumb. But they are more likely to turn it around because they have an elite QB.

Granted he’s on the bench, but they do have him.

So they finally smartened up and stopped calling this Thursday night football?

Just loaded the Yahoo Sports app on the phone so the GF can watch her Eagles. There are a ton of Eagles fans that flew to London for that game. FYI

I'm taking the dog out for a walk...

And thats how you lose to Jacksonville.

Rooting for the eagles to lose so that I can go out for lunch with my Pats gear and order some salty tears.

There was a tweeted clip of Eagles fans outside Wembly before the game, chanting unkind things about Tom Brady. Seriously - in London before playing the Jags. Brady's mindf*ck reach is now certified international.

Lane Johnson carted off. Sounds like fun.
Sorry not sorry, but I hope that 1) it's season-ending; 2) he then feels the need to juice-up again during the off-season; and 3) he gets busted again and is suspended for all of 2019.

Let's not do that please.

Unless he has

1) Has hit/sexually assaulted someone.
2) Was involved in a murder
3) Involved in animal abuse
4) involved in grievous on the field head hunting (or anything close to the other 3 above).

Let's not start cheering for injuries. It is bad form. So what if he juiced up? Most of the NFL juices up.

Me ranking the Sunday games... top 5.

#1 Vikings/Saints - Vikings have turned their year around and are now starting to look like the team we thought they would. Potential NFCCG preview.
#2 GB/Rams - I don't think it will be as competitive as we hope but it will be fun to see if the Pack can hand LAR their first L.
#3 Steelers/Brown - WHAT? Yep. Browns should have beat them last time and have been in every game they have played so far. This is going to be a fun one i think.
#4 Ravens/Panthers - It will be nice to see a game featuring 2 good Ds for once this season.
#5 N/A

I doubt the Broncos will repeat their close contest against KC. The suck bowl of SF/AZ could be fun but nah... not much else interest me.
