For 2 weeks some have been saying it's "correctable" but there's little analysis as to ho it'll get fixed. Haven't heard anything as to how & genuinely would like to hear what some think??
I don’t see it. Shelton and Brown are getting manhandled one-on-one. This lets guys routinely get to the next level to seal Hightower, Bentley, and/or KVN. The front badly needs a Ted Washington type. I don’t think that’s coming from Shelton.

Teams have been just killing us up front. Controlling their A/B gaps like nothing. Last week it was Linder/Norwell, this week its Glasgow/Ragnow. Lang & Decker were vg too. Lots of pancakes coming up

Not a lot of options at this point barring a trade. Just hope shelton and brown improve and stay away from 3 man fronts.

I see many mistakes that have to do with poor fundamentals, positioning or technique. To me those things are fixable

Other stuff obviously will not be fixable directly. At best they will be able to “hide” it some of the time by schemeing.

Lazar put together an article showing some of the mistakes Brady made on Sunday:

Film Review: Fair or Not, Tom Brady Needs to Play Better Than He Did vs. Lions | CLNS Media

It includes the two third downs where he missed Hogan and Dorsett (first two drives) and other things. On other plays like his grounding CP was open. This goes against the narrative that the WRs are always covered. He like others is just playing below his level and it reduces (if not eliminates) any margin for error that was not already completely erased by the abysmal defense.

Is Jon Hankins still available?

EDIT: upon research he is not. Welp.

Shelton (#71) was lined up between the RT/RG. Butler (70) is the one who is across from Glasgow (the lions center). Not sure what's expected of Shelton when the play is going away from him..

He's lined up 3T. It wasn't directly at him but it wasn't a toss/sweep to the opposite side of the field. He just can't move laterally. Poor play from Butler as well but theres a play to be made there.

Roberts got obliterated, too. He needs to show more force in run support when engaged with a blocker. If he stones the OL, the space disappears for the runner. Instead, he got blown up and eliminated from the play.

BCG - No where did I imply that it was the "opposite side of the field". I said the play was away from him.

Shelton was lined up over the "B" gap between the RG/RT. The play went through the "A" gap between the LG/C. When the play starts, Shelton is immediately engaged by the RG and then chipped by the RT who then goes to the 2nd level to engage Bentley. Just by virtue of how he's lined up, Shelton was at a disadvantage on that play. Shelton moved his blocker behind Butler and eventually disengages, but the RB is already by him..

That was Ragnow who obliterated him. I don't know many LBs who could have stoned him.

I was just making a point bc you said the play was going away from him. Like I said it wasn't directly at him but there was a play to be made there. DT's have slide, stack/shed, move around bodies to make a play at times like everyone else.

Idk man this f'in guy ….

It's funny you say that bc last night I was watching a few clips & one of them he completely stones Ragnow. Almost knocks him off his feet but at the same time just misses the RB. He just hasn't figured out the nuances of the position.

Believe me you are not the only person to be frustrated by Roberts. He flashes, he whiffs, he flashes, he whiffs..
