I'd love to see Jones and Kraft wrestle at the 50 yard line at Cowgirl Stadium. Kraft puts him in a full nelson move, then rips off Jones's wig and slams on the Cowgirl logo with a Gronk spike !

If someone considers Kraft a great owner but looked weak during deflategate (which I do) your Peacock feathers flutter and you unload with your idiomatic "defend at all cost" defense instead of recognizing the obvious.

I see J. Kraft's point. Reading between the lines he is saying "FU -- where were you when I needed you?". OTOH it's gotta stop at some point. Goodell getting a rubber stamp quarter billion/5 year contract stinks worse than a can of Dinty Moore beef stew that expired in 2010.

I'd also take Kraft over Jones in an instant. I can't believe others would prefer Jones based on this one item (standing taller against Goodell).
For one, recalling the beginning, Kraft quickly learned he didn't know jack about football and best to leave it to the pros. It took Jones a long long long time and I'm not sure he has learned it yet.
Until it's time for a change an owner should be seen and not heard when it comes to player personnel, coaching personnel, in game decision making. Hell I think even Snyder finally figured out that one...

I agree Tony, however, it's gotta be taken for the whole picture doesn't it? Kraft's decisions to be about the 32 isn't endearing, however, first and most important he leaves football to BB. Whatever Kraft has done he has made BB happy and content to stay with the Patriots. Based on how BB operates I'm assuming BB would eventually walk if the Krafts caused him any issues (walk away and get a massive contract with numerous other suitors). That's gotta count for something that he has kept BB happy and stayed out of his clubhouse?

Ummm, Tony, choosing the GM is an ownership decision.......and that "****ty GM" has been allowed by the owner to keep being the GM for HOW MANY years now?
