"Value" is a big part of the equation, take stab at potential contracts.

Prescott
Brees
Brady
Tannehill
Winston
Rivers
Bridgewater
Mariota
Keenum
Feel free to add anyone from scrub city - McDaniel, Geno Smith, Blake Bortles, Tayson Hill, etc.

Some wild ass guesses to get things started
  • Prescott - franchised or 5 years $160M
  • Brees - off market, nothing to see here
  • Brady - 2 years, $63 M
  • Tannehill - 3 years, $85 M
  • Winston - 2 years, $50M
  • Rivers - 1 year $24M
  • Bridgewater - 4 years, $80M
  • Mariota - 2 years, $30M
  • Keenum - 1 year, $12 M

While these numbers are probably pretty close (I bet someone makes a stronger offer for Winston, thinking they can change him), I don't see any of these QB worth even close to the suggested figures.

Since this thread was for predictions, not "are they wirth that ?", I'll play. I think the numbers will be high, as I also think most GMs are poor at their job.

Prescott - 6 years @ 200M
Brees - 1 year @ 35M
Brady - 3 years @ 100M
Tannehill - 4 years @ 100M
Winston - 5 years @ 120M
Rivers - 1 year @ 30M
Bridgewater - 5 years @ 100M
Mariota - 2 years @ 30M
Keenum - backup money, negligeable

No love for Mark Sanchez?

I don’t see “Wild Ass” listed here.

If it's true Mariota was improperly used his last 2 yrs as a read option QB, I could get behind this for 15m/yr. He previously had a very low int rate and I could see him becoming a game manager alex smith type for Belichick

Prescott isn’t signing for $32 million unless it’s a 5 year fully guaranteed deal

If that’s all it was going to take it would be done already

Prescott is a serviceable QB, he is not worthy 25Mi per year, let someone else fall into that trap. Jerry Jones himself seems to have his doubts.

Money that—if Brady left—would be better spent on weapons for Stidham or a rookie.

1 playoff win in 4 years as a starter. 2 playoff appearances in 4 years as a starter. This is with a stellar O-line and ground game. He also had a very solid D for the past 2-3 years.

I’d sign Brady and kick Dak to the curb. He’d get exposed not being protected by an all world O-line and ground game. He’s a JAG.

Mahomes is looking forward to the idiot that pays Dak. Mahomes will get $40M for sure.

I’d give him that IF Bradys gone

These look accurate. Winston's contract will be disgusting.

Mariota 2/30? Jeez what’s he done to earn that? I’m guessing 1/5.

Interesting we met with Herbert we would have to move way up.
Not saying it’s impossible though.
Stidham Mariota and Herbert would be stacked.

You'd rather have three questionable quarterbacks than one proven superstar?
