Let's see how they do. The Patriots screwed up the FA period and probably the draft (at least as far as tackles); let see if they screw this up...it is the 11'th hour and the last chance they have to address LT, but the best we can hope for is some broken down veteran.
Remember when the Pats got Leon Gray on the final cutdown?

Good times!

RB's are okay imho.

I believe they are too but wouldn’t mind an upgrade if something nice comes along. Can never have too many good runners

I dunno about screw it up. I think they had to choose what holes to fill based on available assets. FA was not deep at OT, and there was many holes to fill on this roster that offensively was bereft of talent. I think it was clear that they wouldn't fix it in one off season.

Matt Breida out in SF per Yates. A bit of a surprise.

But they didn’t have to choose, they still have 50 million unspent

Who's out there that's going to fix it? Do you just want to throw money at it and pray?

They did try to spend on WR. Got rejected multiple times.

Wonder if the Pats can swing a trade, like Boutte for a backup center or tackle. Avoid the waiver wire. Although with 3rd priority they don't need to worry about other teams' claims besides Chicago and Washington.

All about OL...tackles, guards, centers. Is it also too late to find an OLine coach?

What's wrong with the O-line coach the Pats hired already? Or is the problem you don't realize they hired one?

Remember when the Patriots talked about cutting guys who were going to be playing somewhere in NFL that season? Now we're picking through other teams' dumpsters.

Both probably have better rosters.

Wow really? Guy was on KC season?
My wife is a Tampa fan so I had the misfortune of watching D Smith for a few years. He is a penalty machine, yes he was on KC but you notice he isn't now. Dude is hot garbage.
