If we start two WR's, why do we need more than 4 to be active including your three possible starters plus Reagor? Henry, Gibson and Hasty are all capable receivers and can line up as WR's.

The coaches disagree they all feel Thornton had a better spring and summer than Boutte.

Also Boutte was here last year and did less than Thornton.

Agree and I’d add that Boutte seems redundant to what they already have on the roster.

I have no problem with Mayo's flippity flops on the starting QB; it keep the opposing D guessing before the game. Media too.

Someone posted a clip with a series of his routes from the first 2 preseason games. He was getting open quite often the qb was just missing him or not seeing him(mostly brisset of course). And reports from camp are that hes done really well so he hasn’t played many snaps in preseason, getting the ‘starter treatment’.

Personally im not sold either, admittedly in one of these ‘who have you already given up on’ threads prior to camp i listed him so i would be eating alot of crow too if he has a good year. but i think through camp hes earned at least this year to prove it especially if maye makes his way onto the field. That could be what hes needed (plus more durability, but supposedly hes worked his ass off and added a some bulk too).

What are the thoughts on Donovan Peoples Jones? Who has experience in AVPs system?
At this point I feel he’s not an upgrade on talent but on experience?
Maybe something to keep a eye on?

The only thing that can save us from a bottom five season is if the offensive line miraculously recovers and plays well... but I don't believe in miracles. A WR won't move the needle at all.

No kidding… I would’ve cut Reagor & BoneyT; they almost certainly would’ve cleared waivers and become eligible for the PS, but if they didn’t? No big loss in either case.

Besides those two, I also would’ve ****-canned Leverett Saltonstall, Little Jerry Pharma, Eukalele the ‘Roid Cheat, whichever Elliss the LB we have, and ESPECIALLY Bolden & the ****ing HORRIBLE Dell Pettus… Thise last two in particular are Straight Trash, homies.

5 WR sets with 5 actual WRs? Special teams? More moves to come? These are my guesses.

We’ll depends on a lot of factors, can Mayes movement
Mitigate the amount of times he gets hit?

Can Maye actually help us win right now?

Has Jacoby regressed in being a below average QB who’s leading us to a losing, embarrassing season and can Kraft sit thru another one of those?

All these questions will determine who’s under center week 1 and week 8 onward.

Easier said than done, but I agree they need at least two other olinemen, one tackle and at least a backup center. I’d be looking for a guard, too.
