Killer draft. Woof.

The homer prediction thread is a few threads down….Take a few minutes to look at that defense. Wow. Speed and thumpers at every level. Edge rushers and Linebackers are all interchangeable. The secondary is loaded with talent at both corners and safeties. Barmore coming back could be huge. I hope he's alright. The defense can certainly keep this team in games.
If the offensive line can just give the skill players that extra couple of seconds to do their thing, this team with Drake Maye can put up enough points to make this an interesting season. I've posted elsewhere about how critical it is to grab one or two veteran OTs off the cutdown and waiver lists to strengthen the pass blocking.
While the quality is not pro-bowl level, an experienced NFL OT who is healthy has to be better than what we saw against the Commanders. There are a number of OTs looking for work this afternoon.
If Spotrac is correct on team cap space, the New England Patriots have over $39 million available to spend and are second in the NFL. They should go after any OT they can who can do the job and spend whatever it takes.
Not sure about Watts, but people seem to forget that Anderson before his injury was a mediocre swing T on a bad team.I didn’t know there was an IR designation for Sucking.
I think the starting two WRs will be either Thornton and Polk or Thornton and Osborn, and then Pop will come on the field in the slot when they expand to 3 receivers.Very interested to see where the snaps go after Pop & Polk.
Imo the first rd pedigree goes out the door after 4 full ineffective years in the league . At this point we know what reagor is as a wr. Its a very minor gripe to have but just not a fan of the selection
Feel they are gearing up to get on waiver claim.
Hill, dial, hasty followed by Reagor / Boutte are cut candidates .so there should be at least 4 more cuts and 4 new additions via waiver.

Reagor backs up Thornton as the speed guy, Boutte can back up Polk/Osborn or Pop. Baker is probably not gonna see a lot of play for a while as he still needs some work.
I don’t know what they do when Bourne is healthy and returns but maybe someone else is hurt by then anyway.
He was their number one receiver all preseason. They hardly gave him snaps because he was that good.Tyquan made the 53.....oh boy...Did you see something I missed?
Pop should not come off the field very often. He's our number 1.I think the starting two WRs will be either Thornton and Polk or Thornton and Osborn, and then Pop will come on the field in the slot when they expand to 3 receivers.

He's so fast you missed it.Tyquan made the 53.....oh boy...Did you see something I missed?
Yeah, that's helpful.Typing "Barmore" in a Google search box is less taxing than your plea for others to solve your mysteries
I’m with you …..I saw little to nothing out of Thornton all preseason. That combined with his injury history and ability to fade into obscurity when he is healthy makes me wonder what they are seeing in him that we can’t see. The analysts out there said it was because he is the only one who has the speed to be a deep threat…..only wish we had an OL that could provide enough time for our QBs to air one out!!!!Tyquan made the 53.....oh boy...Did you see something I missed?
If you really think this, you probably weren’t watching the games. He is running better routes and has been open consistently. Brisket just can’t get him the ball.Tyquan making the team is baffling.
If we start two WR's, why do we need more than 4 to be active including your three possible starters plus Reagor? Henry, Gibson and Hasty are all capable receivers and can line up as WR's.I think the starting two WRs will be either Thornton and Polk or Thornton and Osborn, and then Pop will come on the field in the slot when they expand to 3 receivers.
