Would be a nice one year rental with only 800k of a deadcap hit if cut after the season. But we are pretty deep at DB.

Cutting DMac would not save you any cap space. Again, he’s a vested veteran, so he’s being paid his 2018 salary regardless at this point. There are only two ways you could get additional cap space from DMac other than by doing a simple restructure - trade him or extend him.

Craig Robertson (LB - NO) buried in depth chart

DeMarcus Walker (DL - DEN) limited use in DEN

I think top priority for this team should be a LB/S hybrid, although they're hard to come by.

Someone in the Deone Bucannon mold would make the most sense.

Depth at DL, CB, and WR would be nice but those positions are less pressing.

We desperately need an athletic play-maker in the middle of the field.

Anyone have ideas?

It's unlikely that the 49ers would trade Morris since Brieda has been injured a bit..
