Like the projections. But very unlikely that Meyers gets traded . If all other stink then we have lost the number 1 safety valve for Mac and could hinder his progression and confidence.

And just 24 on offense including slater seems too less.

Agree . The only catch here is if Parker/ bourne gets injured we are super light on experience and Meyers provides that insurance. If agholor and Jonnu light it up in camp then yeah Meyers is likely to be traded .

But early days still will Nixon become a contributor or go the Maurice Harris way , we don't know.

Perhaps it is best not to guess on the final cuts, since we are really guessing on who will be injured on the cut day. Besides, the final list will likely be 50 of the present group, given the way Belichick plays with the final cut.

OFFENSE
1) Cajuste should be added making 25 on Offense and 9 OL's.
2) I think White starts on the 53, with K Harris on the Practice Squad.
3) My guess is that Asiasi is the always inactive 3rd TE. I think that he is better as a starter if there is an injury to Henry or Smith.
4) I only see us carrying 5 WR if Thornton is not expected to be a contributor. I see Nixon on the Practice Squad.
5) Someone is taking Bolden's role on Special Teams. Maybe it's Montgomery, maybe it is a free agent.
6) We could carry the extra WR (Nixon or Myers) if we carry only 2 QB's.

I'd be VERY surprised if Bethel didn't make the 53, I think Bill brought him over to carry Slaters torch(double up while he is still here), and he can be pressed into action in an emergency (like last year).

I don’t see them trading Meyers on a cheap contract after 83 catches last year and a similar volume the year before to replace him with a guy who couldn’t get on the field last year while Harry, Wilkerson and Gunner were getting snaps.

Myers may have had 83 catches last season, but I do not think he was nearly as productive as he should have been. If he was our usual quality slot receiver, we should have seen:

1.) more ability to separate near the goal line.
2.) much more yards after catch.
3.) less need to be schemed to get open.

Maybe we need to let Bourne be the primary slot guy.
