Luck says he is 100% now.

not exactly, just that he PLANS TO BE.

3 days ago, Luck indicated that he still cannot throw a football.

He hasn’t started throwing a football yet and there was a noticeable difference between the size of his left and right arms (right being much smaller)

Luck, 28, said no medical procedures were done during his time in Europe, but that working with a trainer made his shoulder feel “stronger and more stable.” He hasn’t thrown a football since, but he’s preparing to begin again soon...

He didn’t offer a timetable on his return to throwing.

"I'd like to start as soon as I can. I know that's a vague answer,” Luck said. "I'm very optimistic. I plan on being ready for everything [in the offseason]."

Andrew Luck believes his 2018 season isn’t in jeopardy

Maybe I’m looking too much into the giants having a much better history than both teams? They just seem to have more success. I don’t know

Lions seem snake bitten almost.

Side note I think the colts success in the luck Years was nearly all luck. Although I never thought pagano was as bad as others here seem to think
Well i don’t think you can determine the future prospects of a franchise based upon who used to work there and no longer does.

I was referring to planning to be ready to go for OTAs

I can see mcdaniles taking the giants job, they have the second pick in the draft, the giants are still a prestigious organization. I can see BB giving him his blessing to take the job.

Eww I want to keep him.
Plus I don't think Eli can run McDaniels offense.

That’s fair. But the nfl is a cycle. Every team has its bad years. The Steelers have are well run. They’ve had bad cycles. Every team does.

The giants were a joke this year. Bad leadership

Which is why, unless it’s a dumpster fire a good coach will fix any team.

Ironic. If McDaniels were to be the Niners HC, he would have gotten Jimmy as QB....

Prediction:
Patricia --> Lions
McDaniels ---> Giants or Stay-Put

By the way the giants are not a historically successful franchise and Mara appears to be a big part of the leadership problem.

Tell the Colts and the Giants to go **** their mother and let the Lions get permission.

No can do. When the job is a promotion teams cannot refuse permission.

From LaCanforda’s Twitter: Texans have interest in Bills exec Brian Gaine (who used to work in Houston) and Pats exec Nick Caserio for their GM position

While I’m not sure why Caserio would leave New England for Houston, as i don’t see how he’d have more power in Houston with BOB in place than what he has in New England, this offseason could force BB to rebuild his organization. I wonder if we’d see Pioli, Lombardi or Schiano return.

If we base success on superbowls...
What are you basing success on?
I’m saying they are not a historically successful franchise, but rather that they had 2 coaches who lead them to 2 SBs each.
In the last 50 years they only have reached the playoffs 16 times. 7 were one and done. Aside from parcells and coughlin all of their coaches in the past 50 years reached the playoffs 6 of 30 years.

mostly superbowls but consistency matters too

I hate the giants as much as anyone, but 4 super bowls and their NFL titles pre-merger qualify them as historically successful compared to most teams. They are not consistent, much like the broncos.

I think we are talking about different things.
No doubt the success of a franchise is measured by super bowl championships.
But when determining if it’s a good it bad spot for a coach, and the quality of ownership taking into account all of the success cane from 2 excellent coaches should be considered. Parcells and coughlin would have succeeded anywhere and may have succeeded despite a challenged ownership.

By historically successful I mean consistently successful. The giants have been bad more than good over the long haul and struck lightening in a bottle a few times.

I agree if that’s your definition. What teams would you consider historically successful? I assume patriots and steelers would be on your list...
