I've never understood the rationale for allowing coordinators to interview during playoff season. It's totally unfair to coordinators who've made the playoffs and who want to concentrate on their current team winning the playoffs.
It's such a simple, common sense thing for the NFL to not allow prospective head coaches to interview until after the Super Bowl! Why hasn't this been done?
(Obviously this hurts the Pats back since the Weis days and many times thereafter, because our coordinators want to concentrate on winning. That story Weis had of losing a head coaching job because he wanted to win a Super Bowl was outrageous.)
