I wouldn't say THAT. Like I said, bill knows exactly what it would take to get him to move on from TB12. If a time comes when TB12 thinks he can still play, and BB disagrees, there's a window for Brady to go somewhere else and try to prove him wrong. Hope it doesn't happen, but the scenario is plausible enough not to rule it out IMHO.
TB12's mentality leaves the possibility open of him living in denial for a couple years on some other franchise before actually hanging up his cleats. I've always thought that a guy with that kind of competitive fire is unlikely to approach retirement with grace and aplomb. Not when he always wants the ball. Not when he thinks he can still get it done. He doesn't have the personality of someone who can just switch the fire off like that.
