I love Willis and think he'll be a real player at RT or G. That versatility can only help. Esp with Cannon looking shaky. I know it injury but this might be a real opportunity to find our other T to pair with Wynn. Hopefully lock up Thuney?I am not sure about BB trading up in the first after we have so many holes. I did a Mock Draft where i traded down with the Bears. For two second rounders or a high second and third i would trade down if none of these 10-15 or 20 difference makers fall down. I can see BB trading up for Trautman. If i remember right, he said sth. like he would rather win on the LOS than sth. else. I think BB really liked this. Or for Bowden.
Yeah an OT like Wynn would be nice and give us a great young OT duo to protect our future QB.
Would you either take Becton Jones Jackson or Wills?
I like Davis. He's stood out for 2 years when I've watched him. Full games, plays here and there. Even if he didn't get the ball. Just performs like a pro in many regards imo. + hand usage off the line, in route, catch point. Always snags it away from his body. Can beat press. Knows how to stack and play with a defender. + tracking. Good play speed\strength. Good blocker.Couple of WR questions:
Pleasantly surprised at the high regard given UCF's Gabriel Davis, whom I had pegged as somebody who might still be available at #125...What did you see in him that convinced you otherwise?
Also surprised, though in a less pleasant way, that James Proche and his limitations is placed ahead of Van Jefferson, Lynn Bowden, Antonio Gibson & Joe Reed - all of whom I would draft in that order ahead of him - as a potential Slot/Returner/Weapon option...

Willis is so smooth in his movements. His agility and steps are just light. Not a lot of lumbering around but he draws so much power from those clean flashes. Soft but very quick feet. Can really pop his hips and gets his power from both. Reminds me of Wynn in that aspect. Light, soft feet but draws a lot of power. Not as physically imposing or makes it a point to smash you into the ground like Becton but he's just worried about getting to the next spot. Probably someone that plays with a clock in his head and just always moving.
Reminds of Wynn in terms of his strikes too. Good hands, definitely someone who's staying after practice and obviously going against the best at Bama.
I'd go Willis, Becton, Jackson & Jones for us. Actually really like all 4. Jackson was beat up at times this year and could be a very nice player. Very athletic. Raw but his not a huge project.
I wonder what our feelings will be on prospects like this? Capable of being a real player but needs real attention. It'll be telling in terms of our faith in the next guy/coach.
If You can improve his footwork and hand timing in his strikes you might have a starter. Most of his other issues are pretty easy to fix. Not lazy stuff but he could be a bit more consistent in looking the part. Keeps his hands too low, too late when striking. Looks a bit too tight when in his stance. Could loosen up. I think there's a lot of untapped power there.
I looked for players who tested best in the drills we favor/prefer. Then slotted them by talent/projection with that in mind. * Next to a name means they tested top 5-10 at their position.

My English isn't that great either no worries.Great Analysis!
My Ranking would be: Wirfs, Thomas, Wills, Becton, Jackson, Cleveland, Jones
Jedrick Wills would be amazing for us. He can be a Day 1 starter for us i think. Also it would give us the chance to cut Cannon and free some cap space up. And when we play with a young QB we need a great O-Line. I like athletic OT like Wills, cause they can handle also speed rushers. Becton had a great combine for his Size and Weight, which was pretty impressive for me, cause i didn't really expect these numbers from him. He ran almost the same number as Jackson. This is insane. My concern with him is. How can he handle speed rushers and is he able to loose some weight. I wonder if Becton could also play guard. He could be a tremendous force for our run game. I expect BB to install sth. like a run first offense with our issues at Weapons for our QB.
Clevelands combine was great for an OT, but i am a little concerned about his NFL Strengths. I don't think he could be a day 1 starter for us. Needs a redshirt year and get one some weight.
I am not sure about Cleveland or Jones in the first. Have a second on both sth. between 36-46. I wouldn't mind if we draft down and get one of them in the second when Wills Becton Jackson Wirfs and Thomas are gone. WHen one of them is available draft them instantly. The other Secondarys can't cover receivers for 4-5 seconds. One should get open in this time.
What do you mean by lock up Thuney? sorry my english is not the best.
What is your Opinion on Baun, Murray, Queen and Epenesa?
Appreciate it!Incredibly useful even for draft know nothings like me. TY!
Another possibility might be trading down slightly a couple of times and pick up an extra late 3rd & early-mid 4th, then coming back with all this ammunition (6 3rd- & 4th-round picks) and trading back into the late 2nd round...Trade back scenarios ...
Chicago - 43/50 for NEP - 23/98
Carolina - 38/69 for NEP - 23
NYG - 36/99 for NEP - 23
Houston - 40/57 for NEP - 23/125 (Might have to swap 3rd's)
Cincinnati - 33/65 for NEP - 23/100
Tennessee - 29/61 for NEP 23/87
Trade up scenarios ...
23, 87, 98 brings us right around/in between Atlanta (16) & Denver (15). Denver has three 3rd round picks I believe while Atlanta only has one.
We could pick 23 and use two 3rds to get 64. Seattle has 59 as well, so they could be will to part.
I wonder if they'd give up 64/59 for 87/98/100
Trade into next year ...
LA Rams are a bit of a mess rn and have a ton of FA's next year. No 1st rounds picks this year or next.
Maybe they get desperate and give us 2021 2nd & 2022 1st for 23?
Might we wishful thinking but next year's draft is loaded too. And again, remember we have ammo to move up to late 2nd and keep 100 if we do trade away our 1st for a future 1st (picks).
Just some thoughts. The strength of this draft is in the 2nd-3rd rounds imo. Unless we're going for a QB I want as many shots as I can get 33-100.
With 4 top 100 picks, seemingly we're in great shape.
Yea I'm not there yet but definitely get that pov Bob. Trust me I really want to land a 2021 1st/2nd.As much as I would like to get excited and hopeful about this draft, part of me wants to just trade all our picks into next year's draft. It seems unlikely a franchise QB will fall to us and I can't help but feel we would be better off just tanking and consolidating draft capital for next year as much as possible. I know this won't happen, but it's what would make the most sense to me. Trade our older players for draft picks while we're at it maybe. No point keeping someone who won't be here playing at a high level in 2-3 if that's the shortest amount of time our rebuild will take. Just my 2 cents.
With Scar? I could see it considering what his flaws are, sure.In a normal year (1st-round pick between 28-32, TB at QB) I would be A-OK with Josh Jones...
He's a high cut, limited pass rusher that really has to get 1)stronger, 2)still learning the position so his counters, block recognition etc isn't where it needs to be and 3)more aggressive overall.@BaconGrundleCandy Cool to see Terrell Lewis on the Pats Big board. I like him. Not sure he will ever be a great player but I think he will be a solid player. Thoughts on him?
So the best, real answer is Idk. I know some sports like Hockey make a lot of money at the gate. I believe one NBA win = arounds 100K, double that playoffs. Not sure about the NFL.Have you given any thought to the POSSIBLE ramifications of the COVID pandemic and the effect it may have on the 2020 draft/season? If ,in a worst case scenario, the season is cancelled do you think Goodell still goes ahead with a draft right now? I've been scouring links to NFL-offices on Park Avenue and quite frankly am not finding anything that even remotely resembles a coherent plan, either immediate or strategic.
Secondly, what happens if the 2020 college season is cancelled? What kind of dire consequence would THAT hold for the 2021 draft? Here is what Goodell has to say as of today, as rep[orted by Peter King
According to Peter King of Pro Football Talk, Goodell might be conducting the 2020 NFL Draft — which has been moved from an in-person draft in Las Vegas, to a remote draft — from the friendly confines of his Bronxville home with a remotely controlled camera.
“The other day, I was told that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell could kick off the 2020 NFL Draft in 24 days from a remote-controlled camera in his home in Bronxville, N.Y., a village 15 miles north of NFL headquarters in Manhattan,” King wrote. “But, a source with knowledge of draft-logistics discussions told me, that would be a ‘worst-case scenario.’”
While one unnamed sourced described it as worst-case scenario, King and NFL Network’s Rich Eisen disputed that, saying that if Goodell were to do the draft from his home, it would continue to emphasize the importance of social distancing during the spread of coronavirus.
“Sounds like a ‘best-case scenario’ to me. Rich Eisen, the NFL Network draft host, agreed,” King wrote. “‘What better way to communicate the necessity to stay inside to stop the spread of the coronavirus than the commissioner of the NFL announcing the picks, alone, from his house in New York?’ Eisen told me.”
The 2020 draft was supposed to take place on the Las Vegas Strip. However, the league and Goodell decided on March 16 that it would no longer take place in public as planned. Ten days later, Goodell announced that the draft would go on as planned when it came to the timeline, but it would, “need to be conducted in a different way.”
If the draft needs to be conducted "in a different way" as of this early stage of the pandemic, exactly what way will a season take place as the pandemic plays out? Do the "32" and their commissioner plan on playing in empty stadiums? Revenues?
