There's never a dull moment here in New England after a report this morning after ESPN's Adam Schefter Tweeted that free agent wide receiver Plaxico Burress is flying to New England to work out for the Patriots.
Burress spent last season with the New York Jets where he caught 45 passes for 612 yards and eight touchdowns. Considering how crowded this current receiving group is, it's intriguing to wonder in the event they signed him who the odd man out could potentially be, or if this is simply a case of the Patriots doing their usual "due diligence".
Needless to say it's something that should be an interesting story to follow on this Sunday.
