I usually just ignore your posts, but this is a special level of stupid.

4-time first team All-Pro, 4-time second team All-Pro, All-Pro at Corner and Safety. 'Banished'. He was one of the best players in the league for a decade.

The guy resides in the Bucs forum and only comes to the main board when Tommy's honor is at stake...

As @captain stone mentioned a while ago... Regardless of where you stand with the Tom vs Bill argument, there's no question they should've won at least 10 titles. The amount of opportunities they squandered was disappointing.

Counterpoint: It's not easy to win a championship, everything has to go right.

Of course, of the 6 titles they won, you could take any of them away just by making a minor change to one single play…. So maybe we should be grateful for the 6 we have….

Maybe the way they worded it was harsh, but they are not wrong. I know many posters want to point to his stats his rookie year as an argument, but he got eaten alive when he got isolated in big games. He struggled after his rookie year and he transitioned to S because Chung got hurt. He played better at S than CB so they kept him there. This is what the Saints did with Malcolm Jenkins as well.

But the opportunities they had was unprecedented. They also were playing an an era without any competition aside from the Colts. It was pretty bad.

He won 3 1st-team and 4 2nd-team All Pros at safety. That's not JAG-level. That's not 'wording it harsh', that's just lying. He moved to safety because he was struggling at corner, and became a top safety in the league for a decade. That's the actual story.

That's basically what I just said.

What happy horseshit nonsense is this?

Alex, I'll take things that haven't happened and won't happen for $500 please.
So, the Dolphins contacted Brady in Patriots training camp?

Is that what Flores said.

Forgot the 2013 Broncos. That's about it.

Feel free to name teams that were better than the Pats on paper.
On Paper? Colts, Steelers, Broncos, Chargers were all better for the majority of the the time. And that's just in the conference.

I'll give you 2006 Chargers.

No on Steelers. Colts get a yes offensively. No defensively.

They could have gone 9-0 in super bowls or 0-9. There wasn't a single blowout in our SB wins. We benefitted from miracle plays (Butler in 49) to being on the wrong end (Tyree, Manningham).

Yeah I think the Pats really could have anywhere from 1 ring to 9 rings based on how a few things played out. 10 rings if you count SB 31.

The 1 was the second Rams game.. I didn’t feel like the Patriots were really in jeopardy of losing that game at any time for some reason.

And why is that? It's interesting that it seemed like the Pats made it a routine to make every Super Bowl a struggle.

Both Giants and the Eagles Super Bowls were all winnable.

The Pats would have played Chicago in the Super Bowl and cleaned the floor with them if they dont lose to Peyton Manning and the Colts in the AFCC. Another winnable game where NE just needed a 1st down to close the deal on Indy.

Other winnable seasons: 2005, 2010, 2012, 2015.

I always say if I could change one minor play per year, I could give the Patriots 10 Championships - or I can take all of 'em away.

The 2nd Rams game was never in doubt, but the Chiefs AFCCG game that year would be easy to change.... and the Indy AFCCG of '07 could have gone our way, after which we would have spanked Chicago....

So I look at the outcome of having 6 as being decent.
