Patriots Minicamp 6-7-2022

"There is no defense against a perfect pass. I can throw a perfect pass." Dan Marino. So you can be negative about the secondary, or positive about Mac's perfect passing - your choice ;)
We should know by know that you can't fall for the camp heroes you hear every season and this goes for every team. You'll get reports from media that "this guy is unlockable/unstoppable/on fire", then the regular season comes and they disappear.

But yes, I'd rather have Mac do well then hear he's struggling like what we're hearing with Zack Wilson.

All I want to hear is that Mac is crushing throws all off season.

I really hope not. Wilkerson, Nixon, Thornton, literally any other WR we have is going to be more productive
It’s a low bar, especially with all of them being cheaper. I’m sure he’s only here as they try and find a trade partner to salvage a late round pick swap.

Yeah but it’s not as cute when your team is middling.
i guess 20 years of utter domination isn't good enough for some. We were bound to be middling sooner or later

There was a bit of a scrum at the very end of practice. Matthew Judon recovered a fumble, and Cole Strange tackled him from the ground. Judon seemed to take exception, and the two had to be separated.

And so it begins. There's going to be a lot of this. Remember when Bruski complained to his wife about Mankins in training camp? Great stuff.
Love it.

They were soft when the tough got going.

The need the knives sharpened.

Why? No new stars and virtually all are all vets so we have an idea.
What? Maybe safety, but there's a good chance that after final cuts that the CB group could consist of 2 rookies and a guy who hasn't played in a year.

How many here thought the Pats were going to be over .500 in 2001 with all the Old Retreads Bill brought in?
I'm guessing 8-8 at BEST, was the general consensus.

And they wouldn’t have been over .500 if Mo Lewis doesn’t happen.
did it happen?

Yes.

So outside of just talking ****, whats your point?
