I've got high hopes for Chism. However I don't put any stock in these workout videos. Guys can easily look great without pads and with no defenders around them.

When he shows he can perform at a high level with NFL defenders draped to him, then I'll get hyped. Can't wait for training camp and preseason to start so we can see Chism show off his skills against live competition!

He's been doing the workouts since he was 3 years old (once he was in pullups and his moms didn't embarrass him anymore). He is the workout legend, you can't diminish the ISM. It is tantrism. Any other team can claim someone off a PS so long as they put him on their own 53-man active roster.

Yep, but they have to release him first and then sign him to the practice squad, and if they release Chism it will be the last they see of him.

Marcus Jones has the ability to play offense, but I feel his defensive value will be of more use to us.

The same debate was going to happen with Hunter if he had fallen to us. How much to use him on offense and how much on defense, and the answer is he would have been heavily used on one side and only lightly if at all on the other side. NFL requires specialization more than dual threats.

Don't get me wrong, having a Troy Brown who can occasionally play nickel in case of injuries is nice, but that's not the main case usage.

I get it: but he can see he's going have immediate success. Chism's quickness and agility are both Elite...the question about him will be; why wasn't he drafted??

Any other NFL team. Not sure how it would work if he wanted to go to the CFL. Suspect it will mean he’s under contract as a PS player and would have to be released or have the contract expire at end of season.

But he could sign with the CFL instead of signing in the NFL to a PS.
